I am putting on a remote oil filter/temp gauge this weekend. I did some searching but didn't have much luck, I was wondering which line from the transmission goes to the cooler and which brings it back in. I have read the rear is the return but also that the front was. Thanks in advance for any help
Just read a post that suggests testing pump pressure on the e4od but i can't find any instructions about how to do it. Any help on this? Also, if you drop the pan on one of these tranny's can you see if there are any problems that need to be addressed.
Mine has changed it's shifting points (that is it shifts around 2300 and higher where before it almost never got past 2K) after an engine swap and I think it might be slipping. Tranny fluid is red and there is no burnt smell at all. Sometime it shifts a little hard and sometimes you can't feel the shift at all.
