guess what!!! my wife told me that she's going to stop eating some of her routine things like pancakes, chips, and sweets in general!!! this is like a triple base hit for me, just one more sweet outfield hit & i'm there!

she decided this last night while a gigantic bag of corn chips were on the coffee table... i had just fallen into a trance eating them with guacamole lol, she had to take the bag away i hope she sticks to this and doesn't buy them anymore

yesterday's hectic schedule, and lack of time to prepare, caused what I thought would be a really a poor choice, but I weighed 2 lbs less this morning. I don't know what the combo was, because its not what I expected.

Same here! I ate a decent amount of food yesterday and was surprised to have lost 3 lbs, makes sense why I only lost 1/2 lb the day before. 30 lbs down this morning, still trucking hard!

That is amazing!!

I guess I should do what you are doing, 30 lbs would get me pretty close to my target weight.

What does your plan look like? What kinds of foods? and an example of your typical day?

Typical breakfast (if I have time) is a a 2-3 eggs scrambled w\heavy whipping cream in the microwave, takes about 90 seconds to cook if you whip it up a couple times while cooking. Top it with avocado (Jamie makes a dip with just seasoning and a little lime juice, tastes incredible), shredded cheese, real fried bacon (already in fridge) crumbled up, and a squirt of sugar free ketchup or sriricha sauce. I also have "Keto pancakes" in the fridge ready to go/ I just warm them up for about 8 seconds, smear on a little low-carb peanut butter, and fold it in half like a sandwich to eat it on the go. Here's the recipe, I typically cook the pancakes and a whole pack of bacon on the weekend with our electric griddle to have and eat for the rest of the week: https://lowcarbyum.com/fluffy-almond-meal-pancakes/

Lunch I eat chips made out of oven-baked sliced cheese and dip it in the avocado, or pork rinds dipped in avocado if I'm short on time. We also do spinach salads with a ton of cheese, sliced lunch meat or chicken chunks from the store that are made for salads, real bacon crumbles, and some jalapeno cheesy ranch (amazing low on carbs)

For supper I love slapping a huge steak on the grill, or chicken\burgers\brats work too. No buns\ketchup on the burgers, just lots of melted cheese. I'll eat it with a fork and dip it in southwest mustard (also low-carb). We did try making buns out of cheese, but it was mediocre.
We have also made keto pizza out of almond flour crust and low-carb spaghetti sauce, it was great! There are tons of other recipes out there, so you shouldn't have a hard time finding something to eat for supper.

If we are in a hurry and need snacks then we pair turkey\beef sticks and stick cheese for a satisfying fill. Pickles are great too, I've wrapped pickle spears with a slice of bacon in a cheese\lunchmeat wrap. We've also made tacos out romaine lettuce and hamburger, cheese, bacon, etc.

For drinks we I do coffee with a splash of heavy whipping cream, diet\zero pop, and for sports drinks the only thing we have found that qualifies for keto is Powerade Zero.

It's hard initially, but once you figure out all the foods you're "allowed" and leave the breads\starches\sweets behind for good then it's easy as pie......but don't eat pie.............

Ordered a "Bacon Beef N' Cheddar" from Arby's for lunch (minus bun of course), chopped it up at home on top of a bed of spinach for a filling meal. Will have to do that combo again in the near future

I lost almost 60 lbs on the keto diet-- but then they changed my insulin and I eat less and have gained 10 lbs-- last night i had a spinach salad- with 3 oz of rast beef (grilled) and a half dozen baby carrots- that is a typical meal for me--- Sat I did eat chinese- but no arbs and nothing that wasn't meat- fish- hard boiled eggs :-( Sucks working hard and a backward slide--- they say its water weight-- and that it will drop off soon-- but I am so discouraged-- and I feel bloated-- Am I turning into a woman? Whoa is me.

lol chad, maybe hit up a local walk-in lab and get a $70 testosterone lab done, i'm thinking about doing that this summer. i won't go through my doctor since its 'elective' and insurance wont pay (boooooo!)

Friday and Saturday I weighed in at 2 lbs less, and I was so happy, but I hadn't done anything to earn those two pound losses. Sunday I still weighed in low, so I figured I would try to keep up the trend, and eat good and appropriate portions, and keep physically busy. Today I was up 4 lbs... I feel I do better when I just ignore it than when I try to behave myself.

i just had my fish and veggies and feel pretty good! this morning was bench, shoulders, & triceps. excellent workout! and those muscles are screaming 'feed me' lol

sometimes i get in my own head and do exactly the opposite when i trie hard to be good and eat good. then again sometimes i do really well. how do you do it all the time? idk lol

i'm down exactly 2 pounds from yesterday, and i have no idea why!
side note: i'm kinda liking my new workout routine, i feel more rested before each workout but i still get to hit it hard every day!
