I was hovering at the 208-209 lb range for the last several weeks, just knocking on 210's door, but not entering except in the evenings. Today I weighed in at 205.
Lol! I wouldn't mind some of that health myself!
I weighed in 187, but then i was kinda hard on the cornbread and pie last night Lol! I have a busy day tho, won have much time to pig out
It sure is, I'm kinda too short n stubby to easily move 4x8s. So its a lot of work for me!
I washed the truck, lot of square footage. I think that's exercise for today!
Friday morning I was up pretty high on the scale, but tried to watch my food intake during the day. After getting off work, I went to donate plasma, then was on my way to a car club meeting, so I grabbed a burger at Burger King. It was their bacon king, which was pretty good, but bad for me. The next day my wife was giving me a hard time about that burger that I ate and how expensive it was and how it was a bad food choice. Then Saturday I weighed in less than Friday morning. Saturday she made me a salad for lunch, and we went to a new restaurant for dinner. It was silly expensive and they only brought appetizer sized plates at different times, (as they finished them in the kitchen) any how... I weighed in at 206 on Sunday Morning which was even down from Friday and Saturday. Sunday all day, Julie was going on and on about a Keto Diet and started making food that was recommended for that diet. This morning I was up almost 2 lbs... grrr..
The Keto diet is a new FAD diet-- Much like the Atkins thing a few year ago-- Its one of those things that is a life choice-- you will lose weight - but when you drop the diet- the weight comes back-- if its a life choice- then you stick to the diet- and the weight doesn't come back-- good luck to you.
Yeah, I like my previous diet plan better so far, because I could see it work, but with this keto thing, I get to enjoy meat, butter, cheese, and proteins. All the things I like to eat anyhow. It is like the adkins diet. I don't see this one working for me as well as the other one, but I have been thinking for weeks I need to get back on the wagon and do the previous diet to take off some more weight in order to get closer to my goal. I will say it has been nice to take a break from it for a while. It has also been nice to hover in a range for a while without shooting back up to my previous weight instantly. Maybe the trick is, to take it in steps? Each person is a little different.
I have been trying to behave myself, and watch my intake calories recently, (last 4 or 5 days) I was kind of out of control for a few weeks. I brought my weight back down to 205.5. I am sorta, kinda following the Keto diet, but mostly just focusing on eating good proteins, cheeses, and green leafy veggies. I haven't done much with portion control which would even be more helpful, but I am going to ride this train for a while to see where it takes me. For what its worth, I haven't been on the treadmill for nearly a week, but yesterday was a pretty active day.
