Well I never posted pics. I did work with the factory and they determined the roof is fine and suggested I take it to the dealer to look at it. The roof is fine according to the factory and dealer.
I did purchase a Coleman 15K TU A/C to replace my failed Dometic unit, not as cheap as an Amazon unit but it is safely loaded in the Ex. When my son is home on a dry weekend I will install it. First camping trip to Myrtle Beach is about a month away.
We were planning to go to PA this week, but in hopes of avoiding Flo's rain we ended up in southern Indiana. Super nice national forest campground. Stay safe out there!
Where was this? I'm just west of Cincinnati in Aurora, IN. We're always looking for new, picturesque spots around these parts.

Small world! I grew up in Moores Hill.
There's a couple places in Indiana that are pretty nice. I haven't been to Lake Monroe or the Hoosier National Forest yet. Around here, we hit Hocking Hills (OH), and Red River Gorge (KY), among others. There's some that I'm forgetting. Clifty Falls is nice too but I haven't been there in AGES.

Small world for sure. We've been going to Clifty once a year for the past couple. We really enjoy that place. Our kids love the falls trails. We really enjoyed Starve Hollow as well. The campground is walking distance from the lake beach. There are no fossil fuel driven motors allowed on the lake here and it's very quite. It's literally in the middle of nowhere haha. When our twins get a little old I'd imagine we'll venture down to RR gorge as well. Hocking is definitely on our list but until recently with the purchase of the X, was a bit outside our tow radius for a camping weekend.
Lol... "one street past bfe" sounds about right. Used to live next to Versailles State Park.
Have you gone to Turkey Run?
We have not been to turkey run. I'm not familiar with it. Looking at the map its probably close to 3.5 hour tow for us. That was definitely outside our tow radius until recently.
One of our first trips this year is going to be out at "Hidden Paradise". We snagged a few spots right on the river. The pictures look amazing, we can't wait to see this place in person.

If you can swing a 4-day weekend in TR, it will be well worth it. lots of hiking and fishing to be had...
Now that you mention it, I haven't been to TR since about 2006 with the boy scouts, lol.
Another month and we will have our tt out of storage and back at the house. Don't have a first trip planned but do have a couple weeks already on the calendar. Probably make a quick trip to middle of KY for the first run out to get the property down there back into shape after the flooding they had over the winter.
My "maiden voyage" will be this weekend to a state park in North Carolina, regardless of this dam rain. I have spent the last 1.5 months getting the new trailer ready for the road with all the standard camping supplies and such.

It is a nice park, pretty good pull up to the entrance. The hike to the top is good, easier from the campground side up. If you walk the whole loop it is about 7 miles. There is a great waterfall near the campground side, there is a long staircase going down.
A few years back a Boy Scout fell off the top. I took my troop there and stayed with them the whole time. Since a few people have fallen they have installed a rope to keep people back from the edge.
