Corona with an excessive amount of lime juice added and we cook over the fire anytime we can. I use the outdoor kitchen for whatever won't go on or in the fire. Only cook inside if it's raining.
Every year I talk about it, going to a remote site for a weekend, but we never get time now as work starts in heavy and school takes up the rest of the time. Going to try again this year to make a weekend trip.
Getting ready for a long weekend at Lake Nottely in NE Ga. Meeting friends up there that we first met while camping at Fort Mountain State Park a few years ago.
Finally had a chance to take the family out for some fun even if it were only for the weekend. Just got done building a new hospital and its been a little nuts over here trying to take care of all our patients during the transition. Anyhoo......took the family to Silverwood Theme Park in northern Idaho. Hitched up and made the drive on Saturday, entered the park on Sunday, drove home yesterday. Spent wayyy too much $$ for such a short trip, but the family is worth it. Prior to removing the lift and 35in tires, I usually only got 8-9mpg on road trips with or without the trailer. Nothing is flat here in SW Montana, so any grade made me constantly downshift. Now that it sitting a little lower and riding on 285s, it pulls a little easier and my pocket noticed! Got about 11mpg going over against the wind and 11.8mpg on our way back with the cruise set @ 70mph. It still sits taller than I'd like, so I might be installing a different set of springs next summer. We'll see.
I was supposed to be camping and boating this weekend at Jordan Lake. Hurricane Flo had other ideas! Flo may also kill my Thanksgiving plans if the State Park at the beach is wiped out. She says "Kiss my Grits!"
We were planning to go to PA this week, but in hopes of avoiding Flo's rain we ended up in southern Indiana. Super nice national forest campground. Stay safe out there!

How much impact are you guys expecting there? Flood prone?

The storm predictions have been all over the place. We are in the center of the state on higher ground. Right now they say 5-10 inches (just saw one map that said possible 24 " of rain ) and gusty winds. 30 miles from us is the tropical storm warning. I have heard that there will be no fuel deliveries during the storm and we are expecting rain thru Monday. I needed gas this AM for the car and had no trouble getting 87 only. I filled the Ex on Tuesday night. Traffic was light this morning but for the past couple of days the highways West have been backed up with evacuees. Power trucks from all over are ready to head to the coast and medical teams are here from all over the State. Our area is a staging ground because US 421 is a main route to Wilmington, on a normal day it takes 2 1/2 hrs or so to get there.
With all of the rain and wind the power will go out, streams will flood banks and the blowing rain will make things miserable.

HNF? That's a really nice one.
You should check out Brown County State Park on your way back, but DO NOT take the main entrance. There's a 3ton weight restriction on the bridge. Take the west entrance.
Went to an RV show yesterday. We are hoping to become full timers in a few years so we started looking. We like a Grand Designs 5th wheel but can't pull it with the Ex. I have decided we will ne a F-450 and my dealer has 2 in stock we like. Too bad we are not ready to take the F450 80K plunge. She and I decided that the Ex isn't going anywhere even if we got a new truck.
Hard to find back east where we are... but Northwood products are certainly worth a look. I have a 07' Northwood Nash 27F, built strong, off road package std. and 4 season rated. Arctic Fox is their premium line.

Which campground? We love Starve Hollow in Seymour and Brown County SP.

Yeah, last time we drove by it is well posted that you can't enter there.
