I'm sure the interview will be a good one. I was supposed to be heading across the state next weekend to a car show but it looks like I'll have to cancel. All of my truck buddys are either too broke or too buys...oh well.
I'll go drive the truck today, that will take the edge off.

I have got to start proof reading before hitting the submit button
A little story about my fire truck club gathering last weekend. I finally brought the truck to its first club meeting. Most of the members live in northern Florida so it was the first time they got to see it. They used to kid me saying I didn't really own a fire truck because it took 5 years before they laid their eyes on it. The meeting was held at an old fire station that was turned into a museum. There were two other fire trucks there and we had to park them in the back of a library which was separated from the museum by a small field. This ment the trucks would be unattended. I never let my rare FIP bell out of my sight so I removed it and carried it into the museum. The guys had a good laugh abut that saying " Is the bell going to be in the raffle?" There is always a raffle at the end of the meeting to help raise money for the club. After each item was picked someone said, "The next draw is for the bell" and all the guys would laugh. I finally said if they kept it up I would be drawing my gun!! They let me pull the last ticket after all the prizes were picked so I could win my own bell.
They all liked the truck! Here are some pics taken by one of the guys:
Still waiting on the Car ShowTelevision spot to air. It should be this week. I am anxious to see it!! I had some poster sized displays made when at shows. Its not that I don't mind talking about the truck, it just makes it easier to show the truck information. There are so many events lined up through the end of the year. I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of the truck. On December 8th, there is an event - The 26th Annual Toys in The Sun. They shut down the expressway and 30,000 motorcycles and Classic cars & Fire Trucks cruise to a park. Its about a 15 mile run. I did it many years ago when I owned a Harley. Guys from my fire truck club will all have their rigs in it. The Fire Trucks lead the way
thats great that you have so many events throughout the year. We slow down here a bit in the winter, November through March but there still are a few events to mess with.
Cool videos and very nice signs. I'm so glad to see that many people are getting the opportunity to see your truck.
How many people don't get a chance to ask you the questions they have. Those signs will be so helpful.
