Thats a tough call on the pic. I'd go ahead and get someone like Bob to see if they can do a good photoshop. Bt keep in mind if it looks just a little bit off then John Q Public will probably be able to pick up on it and no its squirrely.
If not then I'd go with the top pic and just make a note that the truck isn't the same one.
Looks good. Any way to lighten up the reflection through the passenger front door glass and maybe see a part of your grandfather's left arm and shoulder like in the original picture?
I'm torn about using photoshop on something like this, but I think having your grandfather and this truck together is important.
About the new picture, wouldn't he have to be about 7 feet tall to be there? No dummy, he is standing on the running boards...ok looks good to me.
The rails are done!! I picked them up this afternoon and my dome light that I had nickel plated. I went out to the truck this morning and gave her a wash and wax and we can put the rails on next week.
