And we didn't even get a invite to breakfast , but we did take the bronco other day up on my bro-inlaws property and wheeled around there, but still has carb issues.
And got away without the need for a tire plug (lol there unk Bob, just pickin)
I been up since about 8 I too bailed on church, Got my house back to myself and son, so just chilling. thinking about firing up the crock pot, stew or soup not sure yet!
I can go any where for a FTE meet now, If i can bring the Caviler. 50 miles are less and I might bring one of the Fords!
Hey Rich, you gonna be around today? I got some money for ya'! I wanna give it to you before you take off again. If RC can get to me by lunch time or so, we can carpool up there. You wanna go to, Bob? We won't be able to stay for very long just a couple hours, but it'll still be a nice visit.
Oh yea Unk Bob I knew you and Tim would be in on that one for sure.
Only have to:
1. drop transmission/xfer case/fly wheel/starter/motor mount towers, off parts truck
2. bolt all that to the 460 in end bay and install alum intake/HEI dizzy/Ford Racing
valve covers and paint it Ford blue of course!
3. take bed off frame, roll frame into bay.
4. hang eng/xfer case, then bolt on L&L fender well exit headers and flowmasters on.
5. install 8" lift kit (all springs)
6. bolt on 44" tires
7. mount race car frame (tube chassis) on top of truck frame
8. fab up mount for brake booster/master cyl outa parts truck
9. fab up steering column mount
10. And a BUNCH of ect.......mount radiator (using a old front core support), seats, maybe a mini flat bed, depends how much is sticking past race car chassis. Build dash add a few gauges and wire up the mess.
I have all the parts I mentioned and the parts truck/trucks to use/get what ever we need. And it will be a FTE documented build with pics, are you interested?
GTG & Wrench fest at Rich's place sounds like a blast to me!
That stinks that you have to return so soon Rich, but maybe spring will have finally sprung by the time you get back.
Going slow this morning - still sore from sitting on concrete working on the ball joints but I'll live. Dad's having back surgery tomorrow, so I'll be in Springfield most of the day waiting with Mom. I'm taking the laptop with me so maybe I can pass the time on FTE or watch a movie or two.
If we can pick a date (and mother nature cooperates), I'd love to spend a day down at Rich's place werkin' on various old Fords. With enough notice, I might even bring MY old Ford.

That is a bummer that all you can get it $1000 offer but with times like they are?
A G2G/BBQ wrench fest plan is in the works after I get back.
I will keep you all posted on my return date, I would guess and hope for mid April/spring or mid May at the worst. So everyone has time to keep on working on there stuff, lol.
Ches your bed side repair panels went to a good home today, Alan need them for his truck. And since him/Unk Bob and Tim came north for a mini G2G in my shop they are now south bound.
Tim got a muddy ride in the bronc, its runs alot better with the different carb. I had
another Edelbrock 600 setting on the shelf the went right on.
WR/RC next time you have to tag along, invite is out to you. And to all others when I get back its a "FTE/monster garage" party my place to get Penny's rig to come to life.
