hey ches...well i hope it is nothing serious...yea i know the hospitals are like everywhere else..you pay more and get less service...how is he this morning
brian for 50.00 (and the engine runs good) maybe just get that engine stick in it for now just to get a second truck running that you seem to really need at this time....then take the other 2 and rebuild one right..where you can take your time and make no mistakes or take shortcuts because of "lack-a-funds" syndrome that you install when you have the time..dont you start a new job soon
I have thought about this to but the problem is i have no idea of how many miles where on it just that they were high or how "good" it actually ran.

He says it only hurts a little, but he don't much want to do any thing!
brian i guess alot depends on your actual budget and need for another truck.. if you do have the money and time to rebuild at this time maybe just work with what you have and save the 50.00...because if it is a high mileage engine and useless you already have one of those..you really need to get the engine out again and see what you have to work with in-between the 2 you already have...then decide if you may need another parts engine.. or could maybe use the 50.00 engine as is for awhile until you are able to do the job right....i know it is tough choices
240k so it will have to be gone through which we were planning on anyways but guy said it did run pretty decent. Basicly I am just buying it for the crank since 1 of mine is definately shot and likely the other one is to. The extra good block and parts off of it are just a added bonus.

Did you price a crank kit only about $185 with new bearings!
kansas city is ok..really she lives in independence (same thing)...but it is a couple of day ordeal to go there.....plus the dang grandkids always hit me up for money whenever i go up there...somewhere they got the idea i am rich or something..
Well, it was inevitable. The guys at work found out I do body work. I got to spend the day banging on a red Cavalier. 'Cept this one was a four door 2004. The guys bought it from someone that really upset someone else. There were some size 12's in every panel of the car. Me and Jeff went to work bending metal and then I did all the mud work today. It's straight again. I have to wait on some surfacer hardener before I can lay primer down. I think I can get it in color tomorrow. I also had to bring some work home with me. We don't have a press at work, so I had to bring a spindle home with me so I could press out the old hub bearing and press in the new one.
