This last year I had to replace all four in my 01 F150 4x2. I know somebody that absolutely loves Ka'Bluey and he just fires it up and it passes!
Allready looking at aftermarket rear mumpers for Tim's car. Found one real close for $270, and it's going to need paint at both ends. I know a guy that owns a body shop here, he did the body and paint when I hit some ice and did $3500 damage to the 01. Hope to get a deal from him for the paint. Does great work, and I don't have a place or I'd shoot it myself.

All that matters is Tim is ok, everything else is fixable. Sounds like the Tahoe kid was going way to fast and I hope its all on his insurance company.
Did the Tahoe kid get a ticket? But a long as everyone is ok, its a hard lesson to learn.
Completely true, just like I said. nobody was hurt. That's number one. Yeah the kid in the Tahoe had t loaded with friends, it's friday after school. Most likely laughing having fun, just not paying attention. I'm sure he was rolling pretty well. The Tahoe, and four other vehicles......Yes I think it's his insurance company that should flip the bill. His mother was there too, bet it was her driver. We'll go get the police report monday afternoon.
But my boy's fine
My '97 Cougar failed Monday for both upper ball joints. However you can't just replace the ball joint. You have to replace the whole upper controll arm.
Engineers and their brilliance
My Mountaineer was the same way. Atleast the Cougar doesn't have the ABS and fuel lines right above the camber bolts
If it's anything like the BMW I did for a buddy of mine, they're super easy to change.
bob you need to come down and meet my partner..he is a picker and grinner too..we could have a family bbq and ya'll could jam a little while the kids take turns running the broncoII out to the back 40 and down to the lake.. us ozarkians are always glad to meet new folks..the redbuds and dogwoods are blooming so the fishing is about to get good.

If i pull switch and start rewiring while my kid is at school and they call mid i'm screwed because i only have the truck right same goes with getting the woman to work or if something happens picking her up so no I haven't changed the switch yet i was eliminating the crap i could get first and easiest and tearing the horrible trailer wiring out of the rear. Needless to say though i still have a short and figured i would but i also got a chance to fix a bunch of future problems so wasn't a wasted day.
hey bob..youre welcome anytime..this weekend according to the weatherman is not gonna be a usual beautiful day in the ozarks but who knows we dont alway's get the weather those northreners in springfield do.. so just hollar when you are ready to come down
ohh and i did get a few things done today..i used those bushing's we got last weekend bob..am trying to see if a 9" ford will fit a 46 caddy looks good so far..
Another day. ...and what a day it was. Tiff got mad at me for taking so long at work. When I walked in this morning, the second Saturn with a bad crank was sitting in the shop with the engine on a stand in front of the car and the crank shaft sitting on the floor next to the engine. When I left this evening, the car was being test driven by one of the owners. It runs pretty darn good if I do say so myself.
It turns out the rod wasn't as bad as I thought. The new bearings fit pretty snug, but I put a skim coat of locktite on the rod, just in case. (holds the bearing in place if the rod is a little too worn.) I don't think it'll be a problem. It all went together really nice. The other Saturn I did runs like a brand new one also.
Only problem I'm having now is my back. I was limping pretty bad when I left work and had to use my cane to go out for dinner when I came home. I think the junkyard is a no-go tomorrow. The plus side is my paycheck was sizable.
Ches, I traded my AR15 even up for my '79 Ford 4X4. It had a scope, by-pod legs, ergo-grip, floating hand guard, and I gave him 5 or 7 30 round magazines and about 40 rounds of ammo. He wanted $1,200 for the truck. I had about that in the AR, so I thought it was a good trade.
I wanted to upgrade anyway. I bought a UR308. (7.62X51) It's a pretty mean sniper rifle good out to 1,000 meters. (yes, I can ruin your day from that far away) For home defense, I keep a loaded AK47 under my side of the bed. The wife carries a Taurus 9MM. I'm looking to add an M-4 style AR and a Barretta 9MM for me. I didn't give the truck guy ALL my 30 round magazines.
if its up to his wife...its probably a no go....you have to have ***** to buy a truck..and not the ones your wife carries in her purse...ha ha ha ha ha
