RC if you have to cross that..... I'd say you'r done for the day!
Alan what are we gonna do today? I'm still debating on that nap, still haven't hit the shower or razor.
I'm sure Tim and I will end up in the garage shortly, just not sure what for!
Unk Bob
Hey RC, nothing happens until it happens. I don't get excited when someone expresses interest in something for sale. Not until the cash is in my hand and we're loading the bike up in his truck.
Bob, I should be fixing the floor in my Nova and laying some carpet in there. After the Mrs. gets home from work, we're supposed to go grocery shopping. yay! Why, need a hand?

Alan if it were even decent outside...... I would without a doubt want a hand. Being cooler and wet, my back and hip and right leg are burning. I'm grounded for the day.
Was kind of curious what you were doing today. Seen your feeling down in the back too. I'd sure rather be taking a couple trucks apart, if I had the room inside I'd be doing it. Sore back or not. I want this swap done quick as possible. I really don't think any neighbors will say anything about my mess though.
but would be happier when it's completed!
Unk Bob
bob i am glad i dont have neighbors they would probably have my in jail over the way my yard looks..... the say you might be a redneck of you have more than 2 non-running cars in your yard....my neck must glow..ha ha ha ha ha
I hear ya there unk Bob/WR, I am glad I have the property to have pretty much any thing parked around here in any condition, wrecked, non running and other wise.
And a separate Ford parts lot complete with privacy fencing..... well 4'x16' pallets.
been meaning to ask and keep forgetting would my drivers side signals being slower then my passenger side have anything to do with me blowing fuses? and when i turn on my headlights both sides are noticeably slower also whether its idleing or i am cruising down the hwy

With a sizable load on the electrical system, (Like the headlights being on) your turn signals will flash slower. If one side is flashing REALLY fast, that's usually an indicator of a blown bulb and only the front or back is flashing. If it's just a little slower, it could be an indication of a short, I suppose.
The painless wiring kit is $500 and you'll never have another issue again. ....as long as you fix the rust first so your old, rusty body doesn't saw through your pretty, new wires.
We just got home from spending an OBSCENE amount of money on groceries. We were getting down to the nitty-gritty around here, but I haven't EVER spent that much on food in my life! My girls better not say a word about nothing in the house to eat for a VERY long time!
hehe 500 is not viable right now. I have checked and rechecked the wiring in the frame rails and am pretty sure ever spot it passes through the body, wire loom, and frame and can't find the short when i get a day that i can spend changing the switch i will do that next after that i am out of ideas. Thought i had it fixed till i decided to see if would pop on a steep incline going up a dirt pile. It popped the fuse. All of my bulbs are good and work as they should its just the drivers side is much slower
brian to maybe save yourself changing the switch... take your test light and find the 3 wire's at the turn signal plug near the steering column that operate your left signal. then unplug it, remove the bulbs from the left turn lights f&r put one end of the test light to a 12v source and see if either of the wire's going to the front or rear lights are grounded. if they are you will know where to look for your short. if not then pull you instrument cluster and remove the bulb for the left indicator light and check for a short from the left indicator light socket to the steering column plug..if not in any of those places then it must be in the column... and worth taking it apart
