Got me a new light weight Bronco hauling trailer. And now a portable work station with the middle being open.
And now I do not have to drag "big-heavy" around all the time. I am not hauling an D9 dozer. lol
And the rail buggy will fit just as nice on it too.
Nice. I like that it's wide enough to fit those meaty tires between the wheel wells without rolling over them!
And that's a monster jack! I like it! No more folding 3rd leg, eh? I have not seen one like that on a trailer that size before. Very stout.
I just bought a trailer too, so I could store my non-running '71 on the street. Pretty heavy for me, but the price was right and it looks well built. Not as stout as yours(!) but way more than enough for me.
I'm kind or surprised at how so many trailers I see nowadays that have the axles pushed so far back (similar to yours it appears). Probably so people can fit their lighter-weight toys up front maybe?
Have fun with it.
By the way, what's the weight rating of that thing?
It is a Aztec trailer, the tire decks 2' wide and it is 83" between the fenderwells (same as my big trailer). The dvrs side fender folds up out of the way, so if you put a car on it and need to open the door. It has the 3500 lb axles and is made out of 4" C channel, with a 16" overall length. But has a 2 ft dove tail for easy loading angles, not that I even need to use the ramps for the Bronco. I agree the the axles are set back just a little to far to keep a load centered on the trailer, versus centered over the axles. I am going to test haul the Bronco next week and find the sweet spot and put my "stop it here" paint marks on the deck to ease in self loading.
That "monster jack" is on my big 8 lug axle 20" trailer, and the inner center leg is pull pin spring loaded to retract. And smack a finger if you are not careful set up. As far as those folding center/side of the tongue jack legs on the front end are a bad way to go IMO. And a great way to get hurt when the snap ring can fail and the worst time. Those are not bad to use on the back end of a trailer, if you need rear stabilizing jacks. It is crazy to me that you can not just park on the side of the road/street. I mean you do pay taxes out there, so why not. HOA/city rules? Yes that is ice sickles and snow hanging off the Bronco top, it is 24* out here.
Oh sure, blame it on needing glasses. Lol. It's all good Timmy er... Mike, ah.....Billy Jo Jim Bob.
Hows is your knee recovery going? You have a leg up on it?
