Make sure you tell coastal about the injectors you did right befor and the fact that the dealer probly has no idea where to get oil pressure. I didn't know you tryd filling the HP oil resivor it should have started momentarily off that the resivor is there so you don't have to crank momentarily. But our definitions of tryd to start could be diffrent. Most importantly make sure coastal diesel aproches the problem like it had never gone to the dealer don't want their rettarded ness to affect the guy there. Actualy let them know that some rettard that had no clew what hes doing installed the new oil pump and you may now have 2 reasons your truck won't start. If the dealer saw some presure its not the deairation valve it is most likely injector orings. Ask the dealer for the old parts and inspect them if the pump looks good refuse to pay they didn't fix any thing and as they said oil presure was low then they replaced the pump and it was nonexsistant so they clearly just admitted to miss diagnosing it and improperly installing the part and makeing the problem wores. If you haven't already you need to put their name out here so no one els falls victem to them.
Found out that they never even checked the IPR o-rings. Which could bleed off the pressure.
They were checking the oil pressure from the OPS hole and getting nothing.
Yea, this whole thing, and that check valve could be sitting on top of the oil filter.
The reason I was mentioning it is that it was not too long ago that the cooler was pulled and serviced.

and here its in place 4 parts- spring , sealing coin/flat, washer and retianer clip spring.
The early PSD does not have the clip to hold the installed valve assembly.
Its staked in. Thus the reason it can fall out. Also its the reason for the
change to the clip.

Did not know that Bill. I rep'ed out on you. Wonder what yr the mod came.
William, Here's a picture of the stuff inside the by-pass valve. No ball, but a few small parts to get lost. Even the new clipped on style falls out.
