WOW I just read all the thread and is like a novel. Glad to hear your truck is running again after so much time.
I just have a question, what was the bypass valve missing, the vertical or the horizontal that Rick mentioned?

It was missing everything from the whole above the oil filter. There was just nothing there, like in William's picture he posted a couple pages back.

I know! I was looking through the truck and the second shop put the old oil cooler cap in a box in my back seat for me. I popped the hood to take a look at everything and the HPX wasn't there. I remembered the dealer saying that had taken it off and put the plugs back in to test it, so I checked inside the cab everywhere I could think of, and even in the bed. Nothing...
At least the tow truck company is going to buy me a new bumper...
