I am a greenhorn here and have been studying the site for a few months
now and have found more information here than on any other. I'm really
glad to have googled across it.
AH, the information age!
First a little confession, I am in my early 50's and have owned, wrecked, sold
and traded many a vehicle in my day, but only four of them have been Fords.
I came across an '66 F100 on CL and couldn't sleep right until I had the truck
in my driveway. That style and form really says a lot.
Anyhow all of the numbers that I have been ciphering thru on this truck have
me a little boggled. I can figure out many of them but I need a little help
with the details of the V I N
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Toby

The original paint was that Wimbledon white over Rangoon red I believe.
Hopefully it will be on the road soon.
If I can stop tearing parts off of it.
I have never restored a vehicle before but I seem to have been bitten by a restore it bug on this one. Thank god they made a GaZillion of them in '66.
