One COLOR code: The entire truck is painted one color. Two COLOR codes: The truck is Tu-Toned.

Ford also offered a rare shade of white for 1965/66's: Pure White, its COLOR code is C.

FTE member camperspecial65's F250 has the COLOR codes of C and M, which means his truck is Tu-Tone white...the rarest of the rare.

Ford used letters and numbers for COLOR codes, not just letters. For example: 8M = Tu-Toned in Springtime Yellow and Wimbledon White.

Numberdummy, The "C" color code in 1964 1/2 stood for Pace Car White. It was a color used on the 1964 1/2 183 Pace Car replicas awarded to dealers in a sales contest. I have owned one for about 30 years now. In old 1964 paint books you could find C listed as Pace Car White. In 1965 books, for Mustangs, C stood for Emerald Green. Just some info I have come across over the years researching Mustang Pace Cars.

Would you decode my data plate?

What does "Driftwood" look like? Some kind of brown/tan?

Thamks for other info. I knew the 64 1/2 was a hobby term. Mine was built April 24, 1964. I thought the color codes would be the same across the whole Ford line. Must have been a nightmare back in the old days.

Thanks again, Rod

If you ordered the 1964/72 truck catalog by mistake, you won't find one Uni specific part. Uni cancelled mid-model year 1963.

Thank you. The guy I bought the truck from said the original owner was from Vegas and he was a tin tapper.
I would like to keep it original with some engine upgrades.

Bill, can complete nut and bolt sets for different parts of the truck be ordered? My 63 uni project I got has the front sheet metal loosely bolted on with a few bolts. I looked at the hipo book, looks tough to find all the different part numbers. Rod

Ford never offered complete sets of hardware (nuts, bolts, etc), all had to be bought piece by piece.

Mounting hardware for fenders listed below basic number 16005 in the text section, for grilles, below basic number 8200.
