This post is for Kevin specificly. All that dam salt and snow you had up there caused this pic. LOL We had to cut 4 exhaust manifold bolts off. AND THE MANIFOLD STILL DIDN'T COME OFF!!! I ended up having to torch the bolts and the walking them out with vice grips. This truck is making us earn it Kevin!!!!
In this series of pics, we have a creature even MORE elusive than a Wacey monster.
This first pic is of the extremely rare and camera shy brother in law. Meet Charley. You can't really see his face, but trust me, that's prolly the best pic I have of him.
He is actually tapping out the new front cover for the steel inserts so we can put more torque on the terminator mounting bolts.
Next, Travis and Carl are getting their paint on with the drive shaft loops and front traction bars.
Motor opened up with the timing cover, and oil pan off. I swapped out the 95 front cover for a 97 front cover. Even though Joey said it wasn't needed because of the remote IPR. I hate 95 front covers. It's just me.
Chris handling some more of "Kevin's curse". That's what we are gonna call the rust. (I'm just teasing Kevin) But Rust had it's way with the core support main bolts and I had to break them off. Chris is all over it.
Next is the UBER rare picture of an animal known as my Father in law. He volunteered his paint skills for my bed, tailgate and fenders. And in case you guys hadn't figured it out.....My In-laws are AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!! Meet Glenn
Its amazing what a little bit of paint can do for a motor... looks awsome. Is that a heavy flake in the paint on the fenders or is that just the pictures?
Richard, unfortunately no. My father in laws shop is open on one side, and the wind kicked up some dust. He's still got another coat to go, so we will probably compound that out. I think it's beautiful anyway, I was gonna rattle can it!!!!!
haha ok, I was gonna same DAMN Cody, goin all out on this one lol. And good cuz its drivin me crazy already, I would have had to offered to come down there now and finish paintin it for ya. My ocd was kickin in real bad as soon as I noticed that.
