Okay guys, Travis and I found our no start problem. It turned out to be the IPR. Either this one just flaked out or it could have been bad from the get go. We changed the cam sensor and tinkered with a few other things, but the IPR fixed it. I have a bunch of them and the one I started with was the only one I had without the edge filter. i.e. later model. And thanks to the new IPR block on these terminator pumps, the swap was like 1 minute cuz it's right on top.
Ross, I thought you might say that. I'm pretty smitten with it. But you have everything you need to build this truck. All you need is a dually rear axle, dually bed, and front dually hubs, or spacers. It would be ALOT easier than buying a cab and chassis like I did. I had to bring the rear axle forward 4". And if you are keeping the springs, your better off doing it starting with a single wheel truck.
Now, for the video..........I shot a short video of it. However, I'm to stupid to figure out how to get it on my computer. So the wife will load it for me when she gets up. And I'm going to bed. So I should have the video for yall to see this evening. Stay tuned.
foxracing and cowmilker, the hood stack is attached to the hood. So when you open the hood the stack goes with it, and instead of having a downpipe, you have an "up-pipe" that routes the exhaust up into the stack once the hood is closed. If you go back to page 35 and look at the last three pictures you can see the "up-pipe" coming off the turbo, and then how the hood stack is attached to the inside of the hood.
yeah, that IPR was doing something weird. For the guys that might be wondering, the truck was building up A LOT of HPO pressure inside the oil rails. i pulled one of the plugs out and oil literally shot everywhere. as soon as we put the plug back in after that pressure was released the truck fired immediately. changed the IPR and was fixed. i love how that IPR is located on the Termy setup. Almost too easy to change. Went for a ride and WOW is all i got. doesn't stop smoking at all, but it really starts moving around 3000 RPM and above. Y'all have to see the videos!!!!
