WOW!! I can't believe how easy it is to pull one of these motors.... only took three pictures of explainin hahahaha. Don't worry about it Cody, I'm gonna be doin it soon enough with or without the pictures. Glad that you got it out and all done up, did you do anything to the motor itself or just add some go fast parts to it? How many miles where on the truck? (I don't remember if you said it in the beginning)
JUST KIDDING!!!! Richard, we took those three pics just for you. Our original intention was to pull the motor and tranny last night. However, I hosted a benifit for a friend that is dying of Lous Gerig's disease all day Saturday. I hosted a washer pitching tournament to raise money for our friend that is taking care of him. So we weren't able to get into the shop till around midnight. Usually that's not a problem, but we'd all been out in the sun all day. Not to mention, our friend that is dying is our #4 Inmate. The day was mentally exhausting as well. So in lew of all that, we just decided to finish up the drive shaft loops and call it a night. And it took several "re-do's" just to get the few steps we needed to get done.
Keep the faith people, we will get this done. But even I know friends are more important than trucks. And friends is why I know we will.
HA HA HA HA HA! lol that was good, I needed a good laugh today thanks Cody. And then Travis over there puttin the icing on the cake making me think this was legit, guess imma have to put the hurtin on him at the track this summer haha. Well did your charity go well? And sorry to hear about your buddy, really sux when unfortunate things that that happen.
It went very well. I couldn't have asked for better weather. And the guys came together great and donated alot of money and love which is exactly what we needed.
ROFLMFAO!!! at least we got ya. haha. it will get done with due time i reckon. it was a hard day on us. those driveshaft loops turned out pretty sweet though. i like 'em.
lol ya you guys got me for damn sure, but I had an awsome laugh from it. I was literally laughing my azz off for a good 5 minutes, and then again when I was reading it all to my buddy who was wondering why the hel* I was laughing so hard.
Sorry to hear about #4. My aunt died of Lou Gerig's Disease a few years ago. It's really tough watching someone go through that.
This is my first experience with it. And it breaks my heart. I can't stand to see a friend like this, and there is nothing I can do to stop it. Sorry to hear about your Aunt. The only up side is that she is, and he will be in a better place when it's said and done. I'm not a god fearing man, but in times like this, I can't help but to look up and ask for strength for what it's worth.
sorry to hear about your friend... it always sucks when friends have stuff like that... It kindof makes you think and cherish the moments you have with them more... now to change the subject to a happier topic when will we see more pics of this truck... I want to see it pulling... are you gonna take this to riff raff this summer?
ya Cody, take it to Riff Raff! I plan on hittin that up on the way back from TX this summer. Tried talkin Travis into goin but I don't think that he is gonna, be nice to have another truck on the way out.
Sorry guys, not gonna take it to Riff Raff. As bad as I want to go, I have waaaaay to much on my plate. Not to mention, my money tree will not recover by then.
Patrick, I took tomorrow night off work so I can get an early start this week. The weather is going to be great, so we should get alot done. So there will be more pics. With any luck we will have pics/vids of it pulling after April 17th. So just keep your fingers crossed.
