Jee Paul, do you think that much about all of your projects? And another tip for you, don't stand in front of a moving vehicle, that can squish you too.
Oh and Dono, pull the transmission yourself. What are you, a woman?
I don't know, but theres a pretty big hole in the pavement from where it fell. Then I lifted the new one onto the bronco by myself while dubz stared in awe of my strength.
edit: I'm pretty sure he was smoking a cig while that happened too.

the BW1356 probably wouldnt be too bad...its that NP205 i gotta watch out for haha...
man i didnt think id have to cut that much out of my tranny tailhousing to fit that NP-205...wow, no kidden that t-case cracks everything looks like that kills a lot of structural integrity...i should see if i can weld up some braces to that tailhousing to help keep it strong haha
Make a separate crossmember for the NP205. The three bolt holes on the left side, and the inspection cover on the other side make a good mounting location. That's what I did on mine when I put in the doubler.
i got er dun on wednesday just havent made it on here to let yal know...ill get pics up later...they all crappy cell phone pics though
i have built a mount off that bracket on the d/s of the case to the frame rail...should be fine, for now at least...maybe later ill make one for the p/s too
the NP205 does not ****ing bolt up to the M5DO...i had to hog out the tail housing on the tranny and that input cover on the t-case to make it fit...and i still cracked one of my tailhousing in the process..man i was pissed when that happenend
still gotta get unlazy and finish my shift linkage for the case get my shift boot made and get my front driveshaft in haha...now i r mallcrawler
had to do the same thing on mine......also had to cut a notch in the tail housing for the shifter rail if i remember correctly
but i knew about that part going into it haha...was i pissed when i bolted the t-case to the tranny and has 1/4 inch between the tailhousing and the case...then after modifying everything to fit and some other stuff...about 3 hours of time later, i break the damn tailhousing!!! so i had to start all over again...but the second time was easier i knew how much i had to take off where...boke out the heavy equipment and got er dun LOL
heres those pics...i am missing something....im guessing is a VSS, considering i can see a plastic sleeve on the output shaft with spiral teeth...whatever was in there was strong, the plug i made blew out in a hurry hahahaha....now there oil everywhere but in the case gotta figure that out lol
inserts into the hole below
then my sexeh fab skills...more like 20 min with a drill a torch and an impact gun LOL
this might be a problem...oh well my truck dont flex anyway
and ground hawgs...from the roadkills point of view
yeah i was thinking that...plus side is i wanted to get some decent oil in there anyway...now i have to, probably not much left LOL...oh well chit happens...my breather must be clogged or soemthing, the plug i made didnt even make it home, so there is obviously a fair bit of pressure there
today i got my shifters built for the most part...still need to bend em up a bit so they dont jab into my legs while i r driving...but other than that, no floor pan modification necessary, no extra materials, just used the two shifters and made them work...needs a boot though
