This is my 85 F250 4x4 with 6.9 IDI diesel, C6, and D50 front. I have had it about 8 months and it has a new windshield, rear brakes, glow plugs with manual control, power steering pump, heater core, throttle cable, and a lot of other routine maintenance items. The bed is coming off soon, maybe today...

its a full reman bought back in the early 90s when a po blew up the stock motor its got a little more kick to it but the hp and torque are in weird places with my pump set as it is torque is 1800-2200 or so and hp is way up in rpm range so the spread is huge
but in the mid 90s there was a company that remaned these engines and put a stroker kit in them it was geared towards hauling stuff and at this time the truck was a tow truck
hhhmmm.... find it hard to believe. never seen a stroker crank anywhere for these things and would be surprised to see if a reman company would make their own.
Oreo, your truck look's really tall for just 12 inches of lift!
My truck is 8' 4" to the top of the cab, as best I can tell.
I'm also 5' 11"
you should grab a tape measure cause your off at least half a foot lol. my truck sits 8' 6" tall with 46" tires and as you can see my tires still tuck in the fender well, your tires are 47's and your truck its above the top of the tire so your at least 9' tall. and ya, my girl is 12". well, 12.25 to be exact. 4" superlift springs, 3" body block, 4.25" shackle reversal lift and 1" degree block (gonna remove that now that i got the shackle reversal lift at a 6 degree natural angle) so i will be down to 11.25" lift
ive seen 2 so far mine and another
and its a reman new ford motor like they buy it new put in the crank and resell
its legit i had my mechanic pull the pan and check it when i first got it and the p/o had paper work on it too but i was new to these trucks and assumed it was common like a 383 stroker
I can see a reman company over bore them. That's just common practice on a rebuild but I've never heard of one stroking an engine during the reman. That would require either a custom crank or offset grinding one. And it would require either custom rods or custom pistons. Not something I can see a company doing that does stock rebuilds.
Maybe a shop that specialized in performance engines.
