Every time I hit a bump, I hear that hollow metal rolling sound.....and have to pull over.
3 different fords, same exact problem, Almost everyone I know, has better luck than I do with them, I ended up finding myself playing horse shoe toss with them .
hey what size tires are you running, and is it lifted, i want mine the same way.. i love the steel wheel look with big tires, i also dig those trim rings.
im running 3 inches of lift with 315-75-R16 10 ply goodyear wrangler duratrac's those trim rings are actually off of a GM 16 inch steel rally rim and they are ON there..lol it takes both hands, and both feet to put them on. but they fit really nice
is that suspenssion or body lift, i was thinking of running a 2" body lift on mine. i think that combined with new front springs and i'll clear those fine.. your truck looks great by the way.
thank you she sint too bad for an old farm truck, its a suspention lift, i tend to shy away from body lifts, my tires will rub ever so slightly on the front of the springs if im locked in a turn and drive up on something
do you know what width the wheels are, i asume they are the origionals?? i have a few set's of factory steelies, one set is 8" wide the others are 7" but i hear were a 9" ones made also. i think i'll try running the 8's cause they seem to have less backspacing.. they dont come close to the bumper on your truck do they, the rub on the springs is common.
My 83 F250 4X4 that I bought a few months ago. 1st on the day I brought it home and today
I have a 16K Ramsey PTO winch for the front if I can find a reversible PTO for the T19 trans in it, anybody have one laying around?

Hey all, new to the forum and just picked my first diesel. 89, 7.3 auto 4x4, with 131,000. Its only been a day and I already love it. Looking forward to learning a lot about these from all you guys.
Thanks Country boy ya i like it. Picked it up for 2200, near perfect interior, just needs the ac to be charged, rear brakes, and rear pinion seal so not too bad.
