And by the way, even though we have a camper, we don't camp...we travel, I can't stand "camping" like staying parked in a campground for many days.
We stay overnight in Wal-Mart parking lots, or where ever we can for free, only for 1 night anyways. Gotta save money some how
Plus I love driving hours on end, non stop, only reason why I am forced to stop every now and then is cause the motorhome only does 600km (375 miles) per tank.
I love visiting.
sounds like your livin' the dream... must be exciting, i guess the only down fall is the price of fuel. diesel is at 3.97 a gal here now
In 2005 we went down to Memphis Tennessee to see Elvis stayed there about 3 days, then back up to Nashville for another 3 or so days, 1 night of Grand Ole Opry.
Then we headed way up to Virgina and surrounding area.
Here I am in a Wal-Mart parking last summer, can't exactly remember where, but it had to be somewhere in Wyoming or Montana as we still had the old back tires, we came back up to Canada for the Calgary Stampede in Alberta and we had 4 new tires put on in the back as those Hercules were bald....bad before coming back down in the U.S.
Backed on my famous "under wheel hydraulic jacks"
And here we are at Calico Mining Ghost town in southern California. Nice scenery there for sure! 110*F weather to boot.... Poor old Onan air cooled generator sure took on some hard hours in this weather running the roof A/C.
Looks fun driving down these roads in 110*F weather with no A/C eh? Notice all the tire rubber chunks all along the highways!
And heres one of the only 4 campgrounds we stayed at in 9 weeks time, this one in Las Vegas, Sam's Town for 3 days. 16$ a night, full hook ups!
One thing that always gets me...every year we travel, since we always travel rather far, we always get people telling us, like wow you guys are far away from home, aren't you worried traveling so far in an old camper?
Or climbing hills in the hot desert, hows the ol' girl taking the heat?
I trust this old camper to take me where ever I wanna go, it sure hasn't failed at doing that yet, and the fan clutch stayed lock on throughout the entire desert! Real temp* gauge never went over 210*!
Hi guys i kno its an old thread but hey wanted to show off my truck. Hopefully this works lol

Reason: fixed pic
Geez man, could you make that picture any larger? lol Tis a real nice truck tho, and I can immediately think of someone who'd just about wet herself if she saw it in person
I do have one suggestion, and it involves the mirrors - dunno how you like those, but I absolutely hate them, IMHO they are one of the ugliest designs Ford ever came up with. The "aero"/"sport" mirrors that are usually found on Bronco trucks of that vintage would look much much nicer on this truck, especially if you get them in chrome. And they're power mirrors too, tho that may require some extra wiring work on your part. Unfortunately they are for the most part useless if you tow a wide box trailer, but if you mostly run around with stuff just in the bed, or your trailer is a flat deck, then you should be just fine with them as far as usefulness goes.
Also, I found out that street tires like yours combined with an open diff will get a dually stuck on pretty much anything other than dry pavement, however some more-aggressive A/T treads (like a good ole BFG A/T) and even a factory limited slip will be a huge improvement and allow you to actually drive though wet fields without having to walk back to where the resident tractor is parked, lol

Thread really ain't that old, and folks periodically update it with new pics anyways, so you're good there. Also, your pics work just fine, and them wheeling ones show just how much flex there is in the frames of these things - actually in case of heavy-sprung F350s there seems to be more frame flex than there is suspension articulation, lol
when i first got her
