Holy crap, can your pic be any bigger?

You have the very same mudflaps as mine.

@IDIDieselJohn and Fordman75...I was having a little trouble resizing them but think I finally got it fixed. Love the mudflaps.

bigjoe, I ended up uploading my images to photobucket, and then copying the link at photobucket where the picture resides and adding it to my post. When you are posting on the forum there will be a button allowing you to add an image, just paste the link in and your image should appear on the post.

Up load your pictures to a host site like Photobucket.com Then get the IMG code link and copy it into your post.

Sounds like you got one hell of a deal on your truck!

No big deal about the picture size. I was just giving you a little crap about it.

John, you should get those naked lady mud flaps! Nothing says redneck like a set of chrome naked lady mudflaps. Add a gun rack to seal the deal.

Oh, I almost forgot the truck nuts!

Just last year someone posted a link to a company selling stroked IDI blocks. Not sure it was on this website, but they had 3 different power levels to choose from. Prices weren't to bad either IIRC. I'll see if I can find it again.

EDIT: Well I found the link, unfortunately it appears they no longer sell complete motors. They used to sell stroked 7.7 and 7.9 IDI motors. They still sell ported IDI heads though in 3 stages of porting. Here is the link to those in case anyone is curious.

Unless you post pictures on different websites, you should just upload them to FTE into your own albums. That way, when your Photobucket or similar account is deleted or cancelled, the posts and replies on FTE don't have all the replies to your original post saying how awesome your truck is, but we can't even see it because the picture is gone LOL. I find it much easier to use the "Pictures & Albums" method. Here's how Festus Hagen explained it to me:

Pictures & Albums - Howto
  1. Select: UserCP
  2. Select: Pictures & Albums
  3. Select: Add Album
  4. Edit: Title
  5. Select: Submit
  6. Select: Upload Pictures
    1. Select: Browse
    2. OS Dependant steps ... ... ...
  7. Select: Upload Pictures
  8. Edit: Caption
  9. Select: Save Changes
  10. Click on the image
  11. Copy & Paste BB Code to your post.

My '89 F350 7.3IDI CC 4x4

My future plans include..

removing front bench seat for some buckets and center console
needs a new block heater/plug (it's bad)
install a battery tender on my new 1000 CCA batteries
fix rear end leak at front pinion
new shocks
body work and new paint
maybe a small lift, 4" or so.. I like how it sits now, but i'd like 35"'s.. now have 33's. Probably re-gear the axles and a rear locker

This thing runs awesome.. doesn't have any rust whatsoever, as it came from California.. I bought it about 18 months ago, haul my camper with it, 4 wheelers and trips to the dump.

I do love my Crewcab.. its' nice to have room for kids, dogs, etc.. It does make the truck a little long, but I can't remember the last time I went to the mall or had to worry about a parking garage!

JS, that's a nice truck you got there! Bit of advice tho - if you take your camper out in the woods like that, you may wanna think about removing the front legs - if those get caught on something they'll ruin a whole lot more than your day. Heck I've seen folks remove the rear legs too... When my camper is on I take all the legs off and put them in their storage locations, as far as camper is concerned I got a departure angle of over 30* like that (closer to 20* if I'm trying to avoid the trailer hitch dragging but that's rarely an issue), which is more than my poor 2wd truck will climb, lol.

Yeah gotcha.. I had to sort of custom fab new jack brackets on the nose of the camper (NOT SHOWN IN PHOTO) ... the guy who owned it previously had just screwed them into the sheet metal, and there is nothing solid there... They're not so easy to remove.

I've dragged brush down the side of that camper on narrow jeep trails and removed all of the appliances, except for the stove. It was $200 so if I bend/break something, i'm not losing any sleep. It looks pretty horrible, somebody did a crappy job replacing a bottom panel on it, as you can see in the phone. Basically it's a comfy warm bed, table, portapotty and a stove. That's all I wanted
