im running dual 3 foot fiberglass antannas, they were kinda cheep ones but they are working so far, i ran the harness through the firewall and under the truck along the frame to the bed, my antannas are mounted on my headache rack
I was running a single big 3' antenna on the mirror.
But once the truck will be restored, I'll be running dual antennas on both sides mirrors, but the passenger side one will only be for show (for that nice dual antenna look)
Having both hooked up it totally useless if there to close together.
To make a difference, dual antennas have to be at least 8 feet apart from eachother.

thanks.she's coming along!
iv got her pretty much all back to new now besides body work/front rear bumpers are pretty rusted out too.worse in person than the pics show 'em.but all in time.
i should have a couple fenders and paint job with the lund sun visor and dee zee nerf bars sometime here pretty soon.....i hope! i had to buy a few things for my wood chipper recently that set me back a bit.hydraulic motor, paint etc.but man, she's working like new again.
iv been driving around looking for the perfect green.one day i saw this mini cooper and bam! i just knew that was what i was after right there.
a little research and i found the color is called "British Racing Green Metallic"
the center color will be black.
here's a pic.though its kinda hard to envision that color on my truck, being such a drastic different vehicle haha.
That should look nice! I never thought of that combo but it doesn't sound bad, I wonder how it will go with the red interior? Might be a little hotter in the summer too.
yeah, green with red interior.i guess it will look like Christmas year round lol.should look ok i think.
it may draw the heat a bit more than the red,but im going to paint the top of my enclosed bed (the hinged roof) white.it can't be seen anyway unless iv got it flipped up for loading wood.no wait, only the inside is seen even then lol.i guess only when dumping.i figure that will help a bit.it's black up there right now.
