wagion-how many miles?

Test is a longevity test where we will keep track of repairs, fuel expenses and such. Take a look at the previous 5 pages or so for some background.

Hey wagion I really like the look of your truck. Hopefully there will be a few more FTE tests done to include fords newer truck engines (like yours), but we are looking for trucks with 80,000 miles.

take care

Me and you(and Sandman) have friendly debates and we don't call each other names lol. I wasn't referring to you all with that comment. Several others have pretty much called me a liar or said that I didn't know what I was talking about for saying my 7.3 is cheaper to drive than a v10. Or called my numbers "faulty", etc. Now is the chance to prove me wrong and none of them are jumping at the opportunity. I'm willing to let someone ride along with me, watch my truck 24/7, put a security camera on it or whatever they need in order to trust my numbers. I have no problem proving my numbers are real....

What is the very least mileage/ age you want to take? I was going to try and get LSchicago2 and his F550 V10 tow truck in on it, but his profile says 50,000-75,000 miles. Its an 05.

Yeah, Josh, I'd be more than willing to participate.

The problem with mine is that I only have 14,000 miles on the truck. I also have a history of trading vehicles every 20-30,000 miles or so.

But seriously I'm hoping I can have the self discipline to go more than two years without buying a vehicle...you guys with paid off truck make me jealous! So I'd be more than willing to post my running history with this truck, and with any luck I'll have it long enough for stuff to start breaking!

I think we should probably avoid the 6.4L's just because they are still new and things probably won't wear out as much. If you want to get LSChicago to join, with his tow truck, I think that would be okay as his is an '05 and he uses it for work.

If you need a newer V10 I'm in. It has 91K miles on it and I'll keep it till it has well over 200k and like phillips91 mines used for work so all expenses have been documented along with gas and miles from when I drove it off the dealers lot.

I'd sure like to see a 6.0 for comparison's sake. I mean what if a potential buyer was thinking about one with the 6.0? Shouldn't they be represented by at least havig one in here?
