Sorry, just being sarcastic.
Nah, the $3-5 worth of stuff you have to add every 15k miles. Speaking of coolant though, the "extended life" coolant in my gassers has to be changed every 150k miles(prestone extended life). The extended life that I put in my 7.3 has to be changed every 600k miles(fleet charge or final charge, can't remember right off). That is 4 coolant changes on my gassers before 1 on my diesel.

That's my beef with the "diesels cost more to maintain" side of the argument. People (both gasser and some diesel guys) look at that $3-5 worth of additive and say, well, my gasser doesn't use that so that is more expenses related to owning a diesel. Or they say it's extra work (open cap, pour in fluid) They seem to forget that those extra coolant changes cost money(and time) too. Which do you think ends up costing more in the end, a little additive or 4 extra changes?

Why is anybody sitting on your bumper at all? Are you trafficking illegals?

Do you use the exact same extended-life coolant in both?

Just curious.

I wonder if 28mpg is possible in a 7.3 without fuel additives

This post is hilarious!

According to Ford the V10 can tow 600 pounds more than the 6.4.
Your the one that sounds foolish.

Sorry, I could not open the link.

I am not wrong, the F550 can tow 33,000 GCWR with either motor.
The V10 weighs 600 pounds less, and can tow 600 pounds more trailer before hitting the limit.

Can you post a link? If it exists then we will surely see the gearing advantage of the V-10 as usual.
