And Merry Christmas to All!
We are cleaning up the house today.Getting ready for the big mess tomorrow, lol. This evening we are going to my in-laws for christmas eve.My father-in-law will have the wood stove so hot that it will melt snow in the yard. If we had any!
Lots of rain here today and more to come, chance of snow fri and sat.
Jay I'd be over in a minute just to bug you if I lived closer! haha. I had a ribeye the other day from a steak house but it was tiny (said 12 oz, but seemed a lot smaller).. all it did was leave me wanting more! Do you have a "Texas" restrant near you? it's a steakhouse (duh). Man they have the best food.. Their Chicken fried Chicken and Iron Skillet (beef) dishes are the best.
Well I took the 400 lbs of concrete blocks out of my truck bed. I had them in their for weight but they're more of a nusance than anything. I had to unload the bricks just to haul a lawn mower / few other things. No way I'm loading and unloading 400 lbs just for small errands like that. I priced sandbags but I don't want to pay $35 just for weight. I reckon if the difference of being stuck or not depeds on weight, I'm not where I should be anyway! haha
Wellp I'm off to find me some trouble to get into. It's a pretty day. Cold, but clear skys with plenty of sun. I love being out in the sticks. I grew up in the city.. and this is infinitely better. I can blow stuff up, here! LOL!
4x8 steel sheet at 3/8 inch thickness is near 400 lbs and you can put a lawnmower on top! 4x6x1/2" for a shortbed...

A week or two ago we called the local concrete company and asked about their price scale for sand. They gave it to us after we explained our situation. We got a call from them today asking if we'd cleared the lot we intend to take sand out of yet. Not yet we told them. This could be a good thing since they told us 16-20$ per ton and if I remember correctly a cubic yard is a ton and a half or so.
And today is the first day of my Christmas break so it's looking like next week we'll head over there with a dozer and a few saws to get the place cleared right out.
Tonight is the night to get my azz in gear and get all my presents wrapped up.
wait til early tomorrow morning!

last minute shopping and cookie baking and prep for xmas dinner...My sister does not have to work tomorrow so we should be opening gifts about 11 am...(her b/f works til 8am...hour drive home...kids open gifts from santa and then make the trip over here...hmmm...more likely noon!
...we should have seen this coming. Talk about throwing a 'grinch' into the season.
Love it!
Top of the morning to everyone. The NWS is still saying this rain will change over to snow this evening. If it happens & sticks the kids will be ecstatic and bounce off the walls.

.
Do you have a screening and wash plant?
depending on moisture fill sand can weight 3000 lb per yard, washed and screened is a bit lighter depending on how coarse it is.Play groung sand is heavier than builders sand
Good morning everyone.
Believe it or not, I'm ready for Christmas.
No last minute shopping to do at all.
So what I am going to do today is make some sort of hot sauce to put on top of the burgers that are going to be cooked for Christmas dinner tomorrow.
Instead of carving the roast beast, we are grinding it up and cooking it one patty at a time.
No. Only like 100 a day. And you're right. I wouldn't want haylee to have a crazy new mama.
And I'm just trying to help out, Edmo. You said you were feelin lonely and Lisa said she had no friends that you could hook up with. I reminded her of one.
I never said I was lonely? I'm just having fun with Lisa..
If I really wanted to find another woman right now it would be a matter of just doing it.
