So my boss got me a photo shoot with my dog for a Christmas present. It was cool. Here are some of the pics. It was really bright out and I usually wear sunglasses. The Third one is the best...
I've been scanning in some old family pictures over the weekend and I found one of Kriss and I from 20 years ago.
The funny part is that I still have that sweater, LOL.
So we dressed the part and took another picture.

I can't access FB at work - can someone give an update on Lisa & Mattie please?
I know I might be in the minority on this, but read THIS THREAD and tell me if you think this guy is heading for tragedy. My tolerance for drinking & driving is right about zero. Sounds to me like he's going to learn that lesson the hard way, and the sad part is that most drunk drivers survive in good condition, it's others that truly suffer. Sorry all, but that's one thing I just can't stand. Call a friggin' cab!!

I'm there too. You want to drink, turn your keys over.
Too many crosses on the side of the road across the land.
Brendan, still waiting for the vet to call with an update. Surgery was relatively successful last night, but I need to hear that she is rebounding from the anemia. That is what they seemed the most concerned with. If she does not start manufacturing more red blood cells - and if they keep exploding like they were - it is all for not.
They didn't call me overnight which is good it means nothing traumatic happened.
For the rest of you who are unaware of the situation, I had to take Mattie in for emergency surgery last night. She was near death when I got off the train yesterday, and had to make the decision to send her into surgery to get a twisted spleen removed. She was so anemic her body was getting ready to shut down.
Old gal was still waggin that nub around though, still wanted me to sit and pet her. Even with IV's and a catheter in last night she sat with us for pets and put on her brave face. No whining or crying...just those giant sad eyes.
She's a smart dog...she kept putting her paw on my hand and looking at me...she could obviously tell I was upset... was more worried about me it seems.
She was very cooperative and following the vet around, seems she knew that is what needed to happen.

Lisa, I'm praying for Mattie's full recovery! I know, we have a sick old girl too, and you would never know it, still wagging her tail, and bounces around like nothings wrong. Hope you get some news soon.
