Lisa, you know that some folks are down right passionate about theirr farm equipment, so if you are faced with comparisons along those lines, it may very well be much more of a compliment than otherwise.

and just in case yall don't know it, a 6G alternator for an 02 superduty with a 7.3 costs $238.
or $36 and a 12 pack of beer for the parts to rebuild it if you know the rebuilder.
i found out at 1:35 pm today that the alternator died in the 02, when it did not start 45 miles from home.
a quick charge of the batteries off the F9000 tractor and i was able to limp it home to get it fixed.
and just in case yall don't know it, a 6G alternator for an 02 superduty with a 7.3 costs $238.

So what you are saying is buy one now from me so you dont have to suffer like you did and pay list price.
save a few bucks and carry a spare.
