Wow what a crazy day yesterday. Screaming, children running around like heathens, a good game of dominoes, lots of food...my stomach still hurts from laughing.
The kids were unsupervised for about two minutes....got ahold of a tube of blue Spongebob Squarepants toothpaste...man what a mess. Kids got in BIG trouble. My sister got mad at me because I was laughing while we cleaned it up...I don't think I could make such a creative mess if I tried.
I meet up with Cris (Liftedgrocerygetter) tomorrow! That should be fun.
Hope everyone had a good Christmas.
For some reason I get the feeling that I will be going back to a few feet of snow back in Iowa. I hope I don't get stranded at the train station....
Yeah Lis i was reading about that on FB, the Toothpaste concoction stirred with markers will always make for an eventful christmas.
Afternoon all! I had a nerf gun battle with three of my nephews yesterday and the amazing part? Their dad slept on the floor while we ran around him, and never got stepped on or shot!! Good times at night with the g/f's family too. Her brother John got a kick out of me teasing her about "always having room for dessert" by calling her Nelly and asking her if she used a feedbag!!! Yeah, I got dirty looks. Oh well!!
Quick in and out.
Hello everyone.
Sounds like you all had a great Christmas.
Here is what kind of weather we are having right now in Seattle.

Yes but I'm 17 and alcoholism runs in both sides of my family so I just stay far, far away from the stuff.

Hey Bud
I'm very proud of you. I know you're thinking "WTF!? I don't even know you." but you're a young man like me and I know it's hard to stay away from that stuff. Alcoholism runs on my dad's side of the family so it's in my blood. My dad was a violent alcoholic that almost killed me and my mom (I was a baby. I'd kick his **** now.) I say it's better to play it safe, then sorry. There's a reason the Bible says to stay sober.. As hard as it might be sometimes.

On my 21st birthday (was on a Friday as well) everyone but me was toasted to the point I drove them home (the ones that didn't live at my house). Besides, you can have fun as the designated driver too...most places I go with my buddies I either (A) get free cokes out of the fountain or (B) about a 1/3 of what the boozes cost; and we're usually at a place playing music with allot of folks out on the floor dancing too (eye candy). Though all the folks I run around with are goofy drunks...so we have a good time no matter where we at. Keep in mind ain't nothing wrong with a root beer every now and then And like I tell my wife...my body is a temple (very large temple if you've seen my "profile").
The snow was fun for the first day, now what's left has melted & re-froze as black ice. When it thaws in the afternoons my front yard is a quagmire of dead grass, mud & ice crystals. The party's over...turn out the lights
