haha I knew you'd be along, Ray. That's why I included the second part.

I'm a big believer in Stihl.

The list includes:
(2) KM110
TS400
(2)MS460
MS210
MS290
BR600
will be addin an MS361.

Keep in mind that is between me, dad, and my brother. My brother left his 460 sitting all winter without even so much as looking at it. Nothing special done to it. Pulled it out the following spring and it fired right up like it never missed a day.

lol. I make a joke about being hairy and suddenly am inbred? Yes, I am with my family this week, no funny business.

In reality, I am fairly hairless, other than the 5lbs of hair on the top of my head.

Ray I'd honestly like to try running a husky saw but we've only ever owned stihl. They do put forth some very compelling arguments. I really don't think you can go wrong with either one. And btw we've never touched anything but the chain on the company 460. It's gotta be a good 3 or 4 years old now at least.

Can I get another AMEN? If it wasn't for the full beard on my face their would be a lynch mob outside house.

I tried that once...lasted about a week. The constant crap I was getting wasn't worth it. It was from my supervisors & co-workers; the wife just said don't kiss me until you at least trim it.

That's more than on my entire body, though I guess when you keep your hair buzzed to an half inch (or shorter) there isn't much to add up. I had to go back and re-read what I said about the inbreed comment; and truthfully I don't know what I was thinking. Maybe it's time for bed...

Stihls are great little saws, I would definately have one around for my wife to use.

I have a husky for myself though, Ive worked enough years in the bush and have experienced enough saws to know that I like the Husq's.

Evening all, hope everyone had a good day today!

Haha! It was on sale and it was all I could afford. I had land to clear. I'll post a picture of what I was clearing here in a bit. So far I haven't had any problems with the little saw, and it seems to have enough power for me. What I LOVE about it is how easy it is to adjust the chain and take it on/off.

Here's a part of the land I have been clearing. It was as thick as can be. Mostly just small trees and suckers - and a handfull of those barbed wire bushes (man those things are TOUGH). I still have one Barbed Wire Bush to take out.. I am NOT looking forward to it. I have some used motor oil.. I might just try and burn it out.

Those are two very tough saws.. I was under the impression that STIHL and Husk are two of the best. Matter of fact at the local Rope store all I hear about is how tough the Huskys are.
