I have a 39 year collection of that stuff. One year I did get a gift that I use every day
i got one close to that but isnt a leatherman... mines one i got from work.. so its not a name brand that i can tell.. its got the company "laser etched" into the side that i worked for...
One year they got me SHOE POLISH!!! Why? Because the mother in law asked my wife what I needed, and she saw that I was buffing my shoes with some polish, a rag, and a brush. She figured Kiwi wasn't good enough (the best, imo) and got me a Calvin Klein black and brown set. I have no idea why.
i like kiwi too... need to do my boots again too... they lookin a little ruff...

Nobody will buy me tools,my taste is a bit expensive and nobody likes me that good collectively
i think i started using kiwi in 01... was when i started caring about how my boots looked... i like the smell of it burning better than i do actually polishing lol....

Christmas gift giving to my wife is a pain in the ****.. She always wants something practical.. I would prefer to run out of the house in the middle of the night and get something practical if it is nbeeded, but not for Christmas.
The last two Christmas gifts I bought my wife for the last 2 years have gone un used by her. SHe had asked for a sewing machine.. something she thought she might want to play with.. I researched the heck out of these things, and bought her one that consumers rated as "the best".. This unit has gone from my house to her sisters, where it is doing fine making what ever the hell my sister in law wants to make. SHeryl has never used it.
The next gift was an Ipod.. I bought the largest capacity I pod I could get for her, with a 50.00 gift card for music.. it is still in the package.. sitting on top of our computer desk..
I would get her the steak knives, I am just not sure where she would use them at ( smily face with knife in back ).
