Chris: Take your time getting her back, she is expecting it now, keep her on the edge for now and when she lets her guard down then get her. You can jack up her car just enough so that the tires are not hitting the ground and put blocks under it she goes to drive off and no go. If she had hub caps a few pebbles in them will drive her nuts, as well as a tie wrap or two around the drive shaft.

Lisa, what Jim said...once you get them it's a PITA to get rid of them, my freak out point is just seeing them....I don't care if they can't get it up anymore, just having them in the same structure......

Cris, the element of surprise is always the best...sleeping volcano theory..

get multiple paybacks Chris..
here is how it is done.
since you already warned her you will pay her back, you have planted the seed.
now get everyone you can think of to remind her you are a crazy SOB, and that she better watch her back, cause you are gonna get her bad, when she least expects it.
then have them repeat this message every day, sometimes twice or three times a day for about 3 weeks.

then lay off for a week or so.

after a week or so of "calm" have someone ask her if you did "paybacks" yet.
when she replies no, start the reminders of how you are a crazy SOB, and since you ain't done any paybacks yet, you must be planning a doozy!
this works . i know, because i have been pulling the same exact thing on someone for 35 years. ( he accidentally shot me while hunting) he is so paranoid that i am going to kill him, that all i have to do is come within sight of him, and he pees his pants.

i have been getting paybacks for 35 years, and i have not done a single thing except start a crazy story.

Chris if you want a great payback......Vaseline windows you will get a ribbing for buying large amounts of Vaseline at Wal Mart (unless you have a quirk we do not know about and you buying large quantities is nothing different but hey everyone has a quirk or two) Anyway..after windows are lubed take saran wrap and basically shrink wrap her car completely. Even go around over top and under bottom not just front to back. Once you have that done spray entire wrapped car with cooking spray or use leftover vaseline unless of course you want to keep it but hey its up to you.
Not that I know this works from experience but i do have daughters who have not always been the angels I gave birth to.

And petey thank you for offering up a moose shaped Island. It would look like one big animal cookie from the air. Moose Island...i likes that!

Lisa for flea control...give Capstar (will kill ALL fleas within hour on the animal) then apply front line or other drops from vet. Some pet stores carry it but you usually pay more.

you can bomb your house which is a good method but just remember to cover every thing and fog is fog it gets into every small crack like dish cupboards etc.

make sure you treat your yards as well. Strays will leave the little pesky visitors in the grass and your four legged kids will bring them in. Flea collars are basically worthless anymore. Do not use OTC flea drops as you can tell from various web sites the problems they cause.

Holland had played at the park with the dogs the other day and yesterday she was feeling something on her head and there was a huge tick embedded in her scalp. We pulled it and it actually left a "hole" and it was holding on to a huge chunk of flesh. So now I have to watch for any signs of Lyme disease. I called the city because they spray the park and she said that fleas and ticks are so bad this year because of weather. Vet said same thing as did release from Purdue.

I have four cats and my dog and daughters dog here and it costs me about 50.00 plus a month to keep the little buggers at bay. I have to go get stuff for my yards next. I just hate thought of it getting tracke din which is why you have to be careful on what you use in your house. Put down powders and even tho you vacuum its still there and then you walk on it and then crawl into bed and now it is on your sheets and blankie.

Good luck. It is best to follow vets advice for your area.

Front line doesn't work in our area...we are using Revolution...we have 10 indoor cats, 2 dogs, and a bunch of other rodents...my wife is a pet groomer, so we have had dogs come in with fleas and I hate fleas...I spray the floors and all adjacent rooms to the grooming area several times a week at times.

The OTC is crap, the vet can help with the industrial strength stuff needed to combat them effectively.

We've seen a rash of tick discoveries on our kids this year in the mornings following "a day playing in the woods behind our house". What we call a rash of discoveries, though, is 3 times within two weeks. In the nearly three years we've been here, these are the ONLY tick discoveries we've experienced with our kids. All thus far have been non-transmitters for Lyme disease.

Here is a link to a site where they talk about the fact that the common "dog ticks" are not known to carry or transmit Lyme disease... only deer ticks are the ones to be concerned with. There are distinct color differences between these two types of ticks as well, but you need to inspect the tick carefully and know the difference... then you can either rest easy by just watching for infection alone or be concerned and watch with more diligence for signs of Lyme disease.

Basically, if you can see a white spot on the back of the tick behind its head, it is does not transmit Lyme disease.

Believe me I am up on this tick issue. When we used to show horses extensively we got to know the deer tick issue well.

Sentinel is not as effective here but I know it depends on the area. I understand FL is becoming one of the products that fleas are becomes immune too.

I used OTC on Hollands cat princess DandyLyon and within 45 minutes we were at the vet and over 200.00 later we had a hard lesson learned. The only OTC I like is Adams. If you do administer the OTC drop and your animals starts showing lethargy or seizures wash immediately with dawn dish soap I mean slather animal to break oils down and get to vet ASAP.

What my vet has us do is when we get ticks on us and they have locked and loaded he has us pull them, put them baggie with date and where it came from on body. we seal bag and put it in a jar. that way should anything come up there may be some clues. A lot to think about and do but a farmer in Orleans had done that and it actually came in handy.

here is one of our discoveries in my dogs ear.

Having been around horses, I'm sure you're up on the tick issue, Mel. I was just posting up the info for the benefit of others who may not be as aware or diligent because like you said, it can hit you off guard and can be upsetting for someone who doesn't know.

All you TRULY need is here keys for like 2 minutes. Maybe she "misplaced" them for those 2 minutes while you went out and dumped everything in her car.

Another prank you could do would be those windshield markers....get like 10 of them and color in ALL of her windows...simple but effective...she would have to scrub them off!
WHat do you mean by "bump" door locks? and will this work on a car? lol

She parks in front of the store so she would see me out there. I need to do it at her house.

I think I have some of those actually...

Why not just take her keys for like 30 seconds, long enough to put her sunroof down and then later you can go back and fill the car full of the peanuts through the sunroof. Another good prank I saw is to take like 10 million post it notes and cover the car in them. Takes a while though.
Lol thats true.

Beacuse on her drive home from work, she would put the sunroof up. Im doing that at her house so when she wakes up one day she will have a car full of peanuts. The post it note thing would take way too long lol

You could just trap me some flea and send them down...

Thats actaully one of my favorite things to do, she drives a corolla so I dont think I have anything small enough to barly get her car off the ground.

Chris....

Type in key bumping on youtube...pretty scary actually. Most kwikset locks and simple deadbolts like that are very easy. It slides in and bumps all the pins up and with slight pressure on the cylinder by turning it the pins cant come back down and you just turn the cylinder and it opens! I made my own bumping key at work on our key machine one day. It took less than 2 minutes!
