I feel like a little kid today. I have had been working on a lighting project for my company for a couple of months, where we switch out every light fixture in the building to the energy saving type.
Because of this, we are saving between $4800 to $5200.00 a month in electrical, it was better when we were open 24 hours a day, but the pay back will be worse case 25 months.. Now, for the wrap up.. DTE ( our energy company ) is paying us to remove all of the old fixtures, so, tomorrow, I should be recieveing a check ( for Gentz) for an amount of $37,435.00.

So, I am a bit excited that tomorrow this will all be wrapped up.

Total cost was 120,000.00

Pay back was based on the 4800 savings.

The check was just an added bonus, and, if our tax man does it right, we could receive about 60,000 in tax credit for this year.

30+60 would be 90.. so youd only have little under 30 left to recover...

Welcome Ice! Where are you that you'll be getting snow? I'm still in SU¢K@$$ Maryland where we've been getting ridiculous amounts of rain.... PLEEEEAAAAAASSEE let it snow here!!!

I know of 3 lawyers I'm cool with; Lucaslaw is one of our own, plus 2 others. The rest, generally speaking, I could do without.

One of the things I did Shawn was to "lease to own" I am paying out 3800 a month for the lights and fixtures, I am saving 4800.00. SO, truth be told, it is cash in the pocket right from the get go..

I worked that angle pretty hard. The deal was I HAD TO BE ABLE TO APPROVE IT. So I played hardball with this. Especially since I am only able to approve $250.00 per purchase. Being as this is 1000 to the plus side per month.. I was good to go.

Dont get me wrong, once I had worked out all of the fun stuff, it still had to go to the powers to be, so I wasnt the final signature on it, but I did get to get my .02 in on it.
