Cold outside..about 0 as far as I can tell. Roads glazed over last night and caused all kinds of accidents..about 7 last night I looked out the window and there was a car in my neighbor's ditch.
Well you better be careful out there driving to work then, or better yet, tell the boss I said you can stay home today, due to the weather...LOL
Already at work. Not bad out..only the sidestreets are icy.
Ice isn't so bad if you know how to drive it. Use your breaks as little as possible, go slow, and maintain a consistent RPM.
Enough salt on the main streets to make any pretzel happy.
I have a real funny but long story about ice on the road, remind me at RRE, I'll tell you about it, it's my version of Planes, Trains, and automobiles...!
TGIF, I get to drive the truck today.
It's not my daily driver, but it gets a weekly workout to keep it limbered up.
Lisa, you might want to look into some studded tires. If it get's all icy like that in your locale, studs are the best option. Nearly impossible to get stuck or slide.
I don't know if they are available in truck tires, though. Hmmmm.

Studded tires..only seen them in smaller sizes. It gets icy here, but I've learned how to control the slide in my truck...in the rare event that it does happen.
Up here if you cant find a studded tire in your size that you want, you just make them! They are a pain though, ive done enough studded tires to last a lifetime!

Good afternoon. Snow flurries on and off today but no accumulation.

Studded tires are illegal in MN. Have been for at least thirty years or so.
