An oil filter that's easy to change? Holy **** imagine that.
Well, if I had left it in the stock location, it would have not been easy to change at all. Access from the bottom is blocked by the lower cross member, and access from the top would be limited by the IC tubes and air intake plumbing. It would have also made a horrible mess dripping down on the cross member.

I wish. Just got back home from the NASCAR weekend in Kansas and I'm beat. We had a blast though. Me and a couple buddies managed to finagle our way onto pit road before the race started, and although we were forced to leave pit road, we did stay right behind the pit boxes for the whole Cup race. That was pretty cool! We were behind Carl Edwards's pit box most of the time. And after the race was over, we kind of snuck our way into the garage area (we didn't have any passes for that at all) where they were loading up the cars and doing post-race tear downs. I got to talk to Bob Osborne (Carl's crew chief) for a bit, and we were within spitting distance of several drivers, including Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, Kasey Kahne, and Matt Kenseth. Very cool for me.
Anyway, I got a call yesterday that I've got to be out of town tomorrow so I won't get a chance to work on the truck at all. I've got to leave the house at about 5:45 in the morning and probably won't be home until 8:00 or 9:00 tomorrow evening. It's looking more like Wednesday or Thursday before I'll have the truck fired up. Gotta make the money first.

That is pretty sweet Jeremy, I love NASCAR but don't always get to see the race, my oldest was in a softball tournament, and we got home late. Who won? I still haven't checked.

Jimmy, but just barely. Carl dove low coming into turn 4 on the last lap, but couldn't hold it, went high and smacked the wall. Carl ended up second, but I was listening to his radio and he was not happy about it at all. Carl's now second in the points, but only 10 behind Jimmy. I'm pulling for Carl to win the title. He's from my town, and a nice guy to boot.

Jimmy's gonna be tough to beat, there's no doubt about that.
I'm off this morning to be gone today, but the weather forecast they had on the radio sounds like I couldn't work on the truck anyway since it's calling for rain this afternoon and evening. Should be gone tomorrow though.

Carl Edwards is my faverit driver, that was a great race. In his intervieu he said he was trying to do what he does in the vidio games. I think he could have had jimmy if he would have went in alittle slower. He past Jimmy like he was siting still. Carl will have his hands full to beat Jimmy but it CAN be done. I wish I could have been in his pits, bet that was cool.....
