Cummins Conversion Update

I think it would be a riot to see what the UOA's reaction would be to the first drain. All the metal, silicon from the seals, who knows what in the cam lube, etc... It would make for an interesting reaction, for sure. I'll see how I feel about spending $25 bucks on it when the time comes.
The welder stopped by this morning, and if the pipes Kai is making for me don't work, he's pretty sure he can make something that will work, probably using a lot of the stock Ford IC pipes. Hopefully Kai's will arrive soon, so I can see if I'm going to have to modify them or what not.
Got the OBD II port wired up today. Pretty simple really. Hooked up the 3 wires from the Cummins that I ran through the firewall, then tapped the wires on pin's 4, 5, & 16 of the Ford OBD II port, which are grounds and power. Put the Cummins OBDII port right where the Ford one was located under the dash, and relocated the Ford one to just behind the dash panel under the steering wheel. I wanted to keep the Cummins one convenient, since I plan on getting a Smarty programmer and it uses the OBD II port for the programming. I'm going to have to call either AE or ITP to find out about upgrading my AE to the enhanced Dodge bundle though, so I can read the Cummins stuff. The Ford OBD II port is only to read chassis codes now.
After that, I hooked up the wires to the PCS for my OD button and OD OFF light. The most difficult part of that was actually getting to the Ford wires. I only had about 3" of wire to mess with, right up agains the top part of the dash. It was a tight fit to get even my smallish hands in there, but was able to do it with a little contorting of my body. BTW, the wires that PCS's tech guys told me to use on the Ford harness where spot on...of course, I had to verify the wires myself with the DVM. Having to add a wire to the PCS harness had me a little worried, but the directions that came with the controller were very precise and it wasn't nearly as bad as I had thought.
I also started to run the radiator hoses, but stopped when I looked at the lower one. I'm not sure of the location & routing of the hose for the bottom of the coolant reservoir and I didn't want to route the main lower hose only to have to move it later. So, until I get the coolant reservoir, I don't want to do anything there.
Well, I'm now pretty much at a standstill point until I get the rest of my parts in. I'm going to check with Kai in the morning and see if he has any updates on progress for me. Until then, I guess I could always hand wash and wax the truck to put a shine back on it.
I could use a few opinions though. I got my Cummins badges in today, and am having trouble deciding on where to place them. Three places come to mind: on the door where the Powerstroke badge is now, on the fender under the F-350 badge, or on the front fender where the early 99 PSD's have their V8 badge and where the 03-05 Dodges have their Cummins badge. I have had it in my mind this whole time that the door would be the place for it, but after holding it up in several places this evening, I don't know. The front of the fender looks kind of out of place, and under the F-350 seems to make things too busy right there. Jeff thinks under the F-350 would be the place for it, but I'm still leaning toward the door. I wanted to see what you guys thought.
By the way, here is the badge I have, from the 06-08 Dodges:

Edit: Here are a couple pics of Kai's truck, with them on the doors, where I'm thinking would look the best.
Thought about that too. They're definately nice, but spendy. Not sure I want to spend that much on badges. Edit: may have to look a little further into this one. Maybe get the '08 style and put "Destroked" where the stock one says Powerstroke.
It crossed my mind, but part of me says I've put a lot of long sweaty hours into this conversion, and I want people to know what's in it.
Not much else sounds like that engine.
"Badges? We don' need no STEENKIN' badges!" :-))

How would they see the badges anyways, behind the black smoke clouds?
