Do tell me about the bike test Sherm! Im gonna try my best to get mine before it turns cold out, but I do actually need to ride abit before I go. My riding usually consisted of riding through trails and fields, that sorta thing.
the test was just a drive through town where the examiner drives behind you in a car giving directions through a radio, you wear a headset. they check your general driving/riding ability, watch your feet when comming to a stop and leaving from a stop. they watch your lane positions for the blocking position, signalling and shoulder checking, basically whats in the book that you study for your learners...
sorry guys but i just don't see either one of ya's playing golf. i always thought you guys were more the action types. but golf! there isn't much action in that. unless you get hit with a ball. sorry guys again.

I gotta go with that too Jack, after yesterday`s dyno session with John and his stroker 65 Mustang. Then that ride down 22d Street and again this morning I`ll never consider golf......
it just surprised me that you guys do that sport. i guess i'm more used to the more agressive sports. like stock car racing. but hey whatever blows your hair back...
hi morris,
and thanx, but easy there boss. we don't want to upset our fte buds. hey you 2 guys never struck me as being golfers. or is it stroke me as that way lol! i was just kidding guys. i like working on cars and trucks. and racing.
i'll bet that was a good thing with the 65. i'll bet its quick too. that MB i got running isn't a bad car, kind of slow but it runs and drives ok. those 5 cylinder diesels are slow anyway. there more of a touring car.
it don't sound like it. i wished i had the money to put my race car engine in my truck.
that truck would come to life. that engine puts out 325 hp with a 2 bbl and exhaust manifolds. if i put a 4bbl and a intake and headers that motor would be up close to 400 hp. i had that motor dyno'd once and thats the numbers they came up with. too bad its in a dodge.... and i wouldn't desicrate my ford that way anyway. that would peeve my wife off. she already thinks the v6 has too much power as it is. if i put a v8 in the ranger
she'd kill herself in it. but we have pondered the thought but NO!
it was a nice day here today. we went for a cruise down around the round lake/crooked lake region. put on 225kms. my wife and I, inlaws, and a neighbor who just bought a sweet suzuki M90. wifes ninja got 84mpg, i got 58, and the inlaws got 62 on an older goldwing borrowed from a brother.
very nice ride, but i wish saskatchewan had more turns on the roads...
Today i dug a septic tank, trenched some lines, did some landscaping,a nd cut some grass!
84 mpg, wow! My xt is supposed to get around 60 from the research ive done on it, but 84 is just insane!
Jack, when I talka bout sports, i usually dont consider racing a sport personally. TO me sports are something you do with your body, like baseball, hockey, etc.
Im very much into racing and stuff like that, I just cant afford it anymore! (and i hate watching just about every sport, although I love playing them)
