No worries, it`s gonzo Grant. Happy Sunday to you too!
My grandson just had to have a monstrous sub woofer and a touch screen in his first ride...even before plating it.
How times have changed! When I was a kid my priorities were having a vehicle that would start on rare occasions, trying to keep it running if it started and having some gas in it...not always in that order.
Morning boys. A break from the chill today with a high of -4 expected.
I used to be a stereo junkie when I first got my license. Now I only listen to music to drown out the passengers if there are any...but mainly I like driving in solitude and quietness. Weird, so I've been told. Some people need background noise. Not me.
Hoping to keep plugging at the shop today. Really exercising my ability to "let it go" with things that I really have no use for. Some/a lot of the stuff I'm dealing with is leftover from the previous farm owners too. That is also my fault. It was a lady widowed for 5 years that was selling, and I said we'll take it as is and worry about whatever stuff you don't find valuable. Well, I inherited a pile of crap. Later finding out that her children are all very well educated and wealthy and could have easily and quickly dealt with all there was to dispose of.
I know what you mean about not being sure where you want buildings, Morris. I have the same problem. It was part of the fuel for buying and putting up that hiqual building. I can move it wherever I want to when I decide what I want for a permanent building. I keep concluding that where the HiQual is would be the best place for a 30x40 pole shed. Essentially it would be serving the same purpose as the HiQual, but with more value, a little bigger, and I would have an overhead door in it for ease of opening/closing rather than the sliding doors. A dirt floor would be fine in there as it would just be for the atvs, tractor, acreage equipment, etc. The HiQual would be an easy sell, or move to another part of the yard for animals or more storage.
Well...off to the gym, then back to organizing life. Have a great day guys!!!
Happy Monday mornin'all. Kalan and I are headin out to do some serious shopping. We also have to get the plate's for Jordan's car. He mega excited. I guess I was too, when I'd get newer wheels. We cleaned out the golf last night and took the sub-woofer out. He left the stereo in it. I thought I'd take it for my 56, but I need to be a genius to figure out how to work it. Cleaning out his car last night we found $1.50 in change, a bunch of french fries, and a diamond ring. I asked him who's it is and he doesn't know. He text'd all his friend's (female also). No one has lost one. I contacted the old owner, and he has no idea. I compared it to one of Dawn's ring's. and it looks up there. We'll hold on to it for a while, and see if it belong's to anyone. Have a great day guy's.
Good morning folks, it is nice to have a break from the cold and hopefully it sticks around for Christmas.
While I didn`t have any say with the arrangement on some of my buildings and in other cases I didn`t plan a head as well as I could have things have worked out ok, its nice to have plenty of storage. One more building about 30x40 with a gravel floor used for cold storage would be idea.
Gerry ...that ringing in the ears just might attributed to the Duster.
Enjoy your holidays.
I friend of mine had a 70 Dart with a 340, man that car was wild.
A farmer just out of town bought two tarp buildings from an RB auction this summer for a great price. He put them back to back and now has a shed 40 x 120. I have to drive by them twice a day and it sure is giving me ideas.
Morning boys. There you all go again making me wish I had grown up in a different time... I didn't hear a '70 - mopar 340 scream until I was probably 17... Now, let me tell you what a 1994 Suzuki Swift sounds like at 4500 rpm. Voice of GOD to say the least. That is, if God was a mosquito on steroids. Oh well. It got me from a-b in good time and did it economically
Colin those buildings usually sell pretty cheap at the auctions. Your neighbor had a good idea. I've yet to hear anyone complain about them.
Off to Swan River MB this am to pick up another load of birch firewood. I guess winter decided it wanted to become cold and miserable again, and I don't like to be cold. I'll get to see how the 5.0 tows compared to the '10 5.4 in the work truck. Last time we went for wood we just had the explorer and the '90, so I took the '10 work truck. It did ok, but I feel the 5.0 will really put a smile on our faces.
