No matter how gray and dreary the foggy skies are here, it's way better than shoveling snow. You guys can keep all of it. The only snow I want to see around here is that of these pretty white geese.
We bought a Christmas tree yesterday, we always support the Lions club and buy one from them for our front yard. We have a small house, there is no room inside.
Started moving the hydraulic hoses on our tractor to the outside of the roll bar in preparation for the backhoe install. One of the hoses is incorrect so I couldn't complete the task.
Wondrous Weekend Eve Washington, Tim, Wayne, Preston, Nicolas, Ken, Ken, Steve and all the crew and any I missed! It is almost time to start the party!
14° to start the morning and a real feel of 10°, the sun is out bright and not very warm due to the 5 to 10 mph wind that is COLD! We have reached the high of 27° by 1100 and we will see if it goes any higher.
So far, I have avoided pretty much any outdoors chores except the cat's bowl once a day and the bird feeders! Can't let the birds starve. But the 3 times a day I go out may amount to 5-7 minutes depending on if I have to replace the suet cake!
Nothing on the list for today unless the Wifey wants to go to the Butcher shop and eat. She is buying I am going! LOL
Monday we bought 4 frozen turkeys for the dogs while they are on sale! 2 were brought in to thaw and 2 left in the back of the Escape. We got the 2 out of the Escape late yesterday afternoon and they were still frozen solid!
Wayne, I like your white scenery!
Tim, get the hydraulic lines straighten out before you need to plow something!
I rarely use the tractor to plow with, we have such a steep narrow driveway I usually just use my Honda snow blower. We used to have a snow plow on a truck, it would make this place a steep ice skating rink.
