Good Morning everyone near and far, starting the day foggy, frosty and 28 degrees. Looking for mid 40's today, the last we'll see of that much warmth for the foreseeable future. An Arctic blast is forecast to come down from the frigid north and make winter start. Lucky that didn't start before the bomb cyclone.
Thanksgiving tomorrow and we're hosting the kids, grandkids, and etc. Hope everyone has a fun, filling and grateful day!

Wayne, it looks like you still have a good stand of grass. I still have dirt from the Drought.

Ken, sorry to hear you will be traveling to a location that is undesirable. I hope the trip is good and fun and good food is had just the same!
Wishing all my truck friends a very Happy Thanksgiving. Hope your time is well spent today with family and friends and really good food, remembering what we're thankful for and from where all things come.

Nothing grows here, Rod, unless it gets water. Without constant irrigation, the lawn would look like the weeds across the street. I'm grateful for the rivers that flow through the desert here, giving us these nice lush lawns, and the ability to turn this fertile ground into the breadbasket of the world.
Wondrous Weekend eve Washington, Tim, Wayne, Ken, Steve, Preston, Nicolas, Ken and all the crew.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, didn't over stuff yourself, plenty of friends and family to have fun with.
Today is the National Day After Gluttony and the Day of Moaning and Groaning while trying to get you pants buttoned and zipped!
We had a great day I played it cautious and only one plate and didn't bring any leftover home! LOL
Being the Weekend Eve, it is now time to plan the party. For me it will be a party of one here at the house. I can pretty much assure you it will conclude by 2200 to 2300.
Turkey day went OK at the sister in laws and for once wasn't a family drama fest! I only ate about a 1/2 cup of food total and it was nice not feeling like garbage on the 2 hour drive back home. My other trick was wearing my concert earplugs to knock the sound down because I usually get overwhelmed and a headache from all of their loud talking. Hehe. I really sound like an old man saying all of that.
We went and grabbed a tree today
at the local tree farm with the little beater truck. We do a rotation of who picks the tree and it was youngest sons turn to pick so he picked a normal sized noble fir.
Sensational Saturday Washington, Tim, Ken, Ken, Wayne, Preston and all the crew.
Cold morning in my WV woods. Started at 21° and windchill of 13°. It is slightly better with bright sun, 31°, still a breeze and they say a sunny high of 37°.
350 Ken, that sounded like a plan that was well played on Thanksgiving Day! So glad it went well.
Nice Ranger and what I can see of the tree! It is just the Wifey and I here. No one comes here because, one we are too far in the country from them, two very small house and barely enough room for 2 to breath at the same time. LOL For those reasons, OH, and the cats we do not decorate here. But we do a tree and decorate Mom's house, and everyone come there and enjoys it!
30° and cloudy! Back home from the family gathering we also had my brothers memorial at the veterans cemetery on Wednesday. Our house is small also, no room for a indoor tree. The last few years we bought a tree from the Loins club and put it up outside, last year it was so expensive and not much for a tree. I'm not sure what we will do this year, it's just the two of us no kids or family so it's only important to us.
Ken, Good looking Ranger pickup and from what I can a good looking tree.
Evening Tim, Wayne and Ken. Winter seems to have made it firmly here as well. Would like it not to but oh well. We just had 7 here Thursday, very nice and manageable. so much better than the days of yesterday with close to 30 Not a huge house but we us to make it happen when the Mrs. had a little more stamina!
Movrd all out produce to the downstairs back corner of the barn and covered with an old Army blanket. Things will be fine until it gets closer to zero routinely!
