Well that sucks on the l&l headers. Lol. I might have to swap mounts and pull out my un-modded pivot bracket. I want chassis exit headers for my Bronco and selection is limited and I'm not a fabricator so I'm not going to be able to cut and weld headers to fit. Rut roh. Lol.
Maybe we'll find out soon. I'm thinking of ordering the headers before I take the block to the machine shop. The motor mounts should be here soon, and my heads are being worked now. If all those "if's" work out, I'll be able to mock it up on the engine stand soon.

I forgot....I've still got the original cylinder heads to use for motor mount and header mock up.
Lafermedavid, I like the decal. What's all that other crap?
Tell us about your engine install fun.
Oh man, you're in for a treat if you like those decals. They send you about an extra 45hp worth of decals in all of the boxes with the flywheel and clutch kit. Even had some hidden under the flywheel.
I went with those inner headers,,,just put the 3" collectors on the other day.....Im always amazed and grateful for L&L layout, engineering what ever you want to call it,,,,,The collectors fit in their rightful place with no room to spare,,,,,right where you need to be,,allowing you to take off in the direction you want to go with your duells.

When you get a chance, could you take a couple of pics the collectors. I'd like to see how they terminate. I plan to run a crossover from the driver's header, to the passenger side, then both pipes run parallel above the transfer case crossmember.
What are the specs on your WMD, I mean Lunati cam?
I'm also curious what headers you wind up with, because mine are pretty bad.
You should keep that Saginaw front dress together and sell as a kit if it has the A/C brackets. I was finding squat for that setup until an FTE user made me an offer.
Super jealous you have a lathe, but I may be able to fix that defficiency after our upcoming move.
I bought the 20340710K inter-cowpasture weapon system. It's a complete decal kit that comes with some other crap: Camshaft, double roller timing set, tie bar roller lifters, and valve springs w/ locks and retainers. Adv. duration 262/270, duration @ .050" lift 211/219, gross lift 559/559, 112 LSA, 106 ICL.
Like I said earlier, I'm gonna call L&L tomorrow to order. Hopefully they have 79750HP in stock. And a lot of decals.
I do have the complete bracketry from the Thunderbird. AC, power steering (Saginaw), alternator, and even the dang smog pump bracket. Pulleys too of course. It's all spoken for.
Lafermedavid, thank you so much for those pics. The headers terminate as I hoped they would. Now I'm pretty sure I can build the exhaust system I want. I most likely could easily adapt the pipes I have in place now. But I'm gonna bump up from 2 1/4" to 3".
I'm not a highboy aficionado, do they have a transmission crossmember and a transfer case crossmember? Divorced transfer case?
