Clearance. However, when I get to building the exhaust, if I see I've got plenty of room, I'm just stupid enough to buy 3" reducers and pipes. But I think 2.5" will provide plenty of exhaust evacuation for this build. The mild upgrade roller camshaft I picked, and the D0VE heads are really good, but I doubt they flow enough air to see any benefit between 2.5" and 3" exhaust.
Lunati finally sent my stuff. Camshaft will take a little longer. NOT ONE DECAL IN THE BOX! Scrappy is not pleased. But we did get a tracking number for the "460 EFI Guys" motor mounts. Should be here in two days.
FYI I could not find any extra FTE stickers when I boxed up your intake this AM. But I just wanted you to know I looked to try and help the horsepower of the gun safe.

Dang. No Lunati decals, no FTE decals, and I'll bet the motor mounts don't come with decals. Scrappy & I waited by the mailbox all day.
Well of course not, I told them to get down to "tactical altitude" and avoid built up areas, once they leave Cairo IL. Also because I am sure them Kentuckieans and Ten Vols like pigeo'n. (spit a little French accent on that pigeo'n phrase). Lol
If memory serves, I don't think you'll be getting any decals with the motor mounts...
I guess L & L are the only ones trying to make sure you spread the word. Summit never lets me down either, I always get one or two with any order. I... uh... honestly throw them all away though. lol. I'm not a sticker kinda guy.
Ok, I'll relax. If they fly NoE, and avoid built up areas, they should be here by tomorrow morning. I'll head back out to the mailbox in a bit after I eat a sammich.

Yeah, I don't put vendor decals on vehicles, and don't wear clothes with logos. I like sticking decals around in the shop though. And you're right, Summit always crams lotsa decals in the box.
More goodies delivered today. Scrappy didn't know that the mid-plate for manual transmissions is different from the one for automatic transmissions. The "460 EFI Guy" motor mounts are beef. Now all I need are the headers, and I can mock it up to check for interference issues.
Rich's carrier pigeons must have superchargers. The intake manifold got here in two days. Scrappy likes it. That, or she's trying to figure out which plenum to poop in.
Engine mockup is at a standstill until the headers get here. So I decided to start on my engine test stand. I measured from front of radiator to rear of bellhousing on my Dent, 5.9 Cummins truck, and 4.0L Jeep wrangler. I built the frame long enough for any of those, and I can easily weld on an extension if I need to have a transmission bolted up. I left a little of that "caution yellow" paint on there so it'll be OSHA approved.
