So the red line end not connected to the actuator, you did relocate it under a CAC boot clamp and tightened it down right? Otherwise you would be bleeding boost out of it contributing to higher EGTs
Yes the redline is plugged onto one of the t-clamp ends. I’m more concerned with the 2 new codes than the high egt on steep uphill climbs.
Considering dropping to stock tune for the drive home and see if that will reduce boost and eliminate the codes.
Is this the exhaust back pressure line? And is this the sensor where I would be getting the high reading from? On Edit: how would I go about diagnosing a sensor error?
On another note, what would be the cause of tranny fluid drips from front service cover when in reverse?
Sounds like a lot of work I don't really want to do myself. Uggg.

Going to start with cleaning them out, Line and sensor, but I doubt that is the issue with only 192000km= 119303miles on it.
I'm pretty sure that all codes are related to the wastegate disconnect, 0238, 1249, 0478 since they weren't there before. New wastegate will be installed to confirm my suspicions, however I can't believe that mine would be a first to throw these codes if it is related to the wastegate and the disconnect is as common as I've read.
Kept my foot into it on a long uphill pull even when 24lbs hit and defuelling happened to see what would happen. EGT was up to 1350 and still climbing slowly when I backed off, maybe 20 seconds.
Overall I'm happy with performance of the truck and with the trailer attached will do everything I need it to. More than my wife would like. If I had $50.00 for each time she said to slow down I would have a HYDRA in it.
Well one thing to consider is most of us aren’t running the old Hyperchip so maybe it throws codes that other tuners ignore. Defueling for example does not happen with PHP tunes.

Your probably right. It’s a combination of the two.
I’ve been thinking about your filter minder. Is it possible the filter is partially blocked by your hood insulation or something?
I dont usually run the minder with a 6637 but recently installed it for a test. With my sxe and the 140hp tune it didn’t even appear to move. Even at 35+ psi. One difference is I stick mine in the end of the filter but seeing how this is vacuum based, it shouldn’t matter where it’s located in the system.

Just a thought.
I will get a good look at it tonight when I get home but I'm pretty sure there is enough clearance all around. I did the SSJ airbox mod on it. There is literally nothing left of the factory airbox and it's laying down nice and low behind the battery so I don't think its restricted by the hood insulation. https://www.napacanada.com/en/p/NGF6...wordInput=6637 This is the one I picked up.
I’m not sure if I’m missing something but it all looks fine to me, other than the minder. I reset it on Monday then drove home. About 450km = 275 miles.
Less than 1000km total on the filter.
It was a long shot...
Your setup looks good to me. It just seems strange for it to be pulling the minder so much. Maybe someone with more experience in this matter will pop in and give us an answer. What you’re seeing is about what I had when running the billet wheel turbo with the AIS. Until recently I never had the minder with a 6637 so I just don’t know. My current testing is with the SXE turbo so there is a difference there as well.
One thing to consider is that the Donaldson blue filter has a screen inside the filter where the white one like yours has a screen only on the outside, I think...
You could have some dislodged filter media inside the cavity restricting air flow. Probably not, but it is easy to check.

I’m going to pull it off this evening and get a look inside. Your right about only the outer screen on mine. Never know... stranger things have happened. Not to me... ever... but I’ve heard they have.
