Just got the call from the shop where I’m having the transmission serviced. Turns out that the last time I had it serviced the Ford tech did an Ugga Ugga Dugga on the drain plug.
They can’t get the drain plug out cause the threaded insert is spinning in the pan. New pan is on order.
Also getting the transfer case and rear diff serviced.
Minor sweating at rear of engine… Hmmm 🤔 probably when I did the HPOP lines and drained the reservoir into the valley and onto my driveway. Or maybe when the front seal on the tranny was puking fluid during extended reversing while hot.
Either way, both have been addressed so I’m not worried.
Didn’t need the extra hit on the wallet for the tranny pan though.
