Haha, yeah the mask stuff and being over it. It's quite the heated discussion with some.
I DIG YOUR AVATAR!
They love their constitutional rights being set aside. That’s what I see every time I see a healthy person wearing a mask. Before this nonsense I bet I only saw 3-4 people wearing a mask in a standard public setting and they most likely had some real issues with their immune system.
Back to the truck...I have tried to load SCT uploader applications to three different laptops and none of them will work. I’m about ready to send my tuner to Gearhead and have them load it with my new tunes and be done with it so I can see how these new edits run with the larger bores and upgraded cam. My dedicated Toughbook is running WinXP so the IDS works but the SCT file won’t load on it. The other two are old as the hills and apparently need extensive upgrades to run the application. Always something.
435 miles after my first oil change I see oil drips on my girlfriend’s driveway and crawl under to see oil dripping down from the rear of the engine and collecting on the transmission bellhousing. I didn’t have a single drip other than the cut o-ring on the oil pressure regulator that was fixed hundreds of miles ago. How in the hell am I leaking now?!? Next days off I’m going to degrease and inspect with my borescope and inspection mirrors to see where it’s coming from. Very irritating when all gaskets and seals were correctly installed on freshly cleaned surfaces while on the engine stand. I’ll pull the whole engine back out if I have to but I’m not having oil leaks on a fresh rebuild!
I might jerk this junk out and stick a 12v Cummins or a 6.7 in it...anyone want to buy a fully rebuilt 6.0 with 1438 miles on it with the turbo and all goodies? Haha
