Thanks guys. Good to know the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Makes me feel better about giving Good Sam the middle finger.
I believe a lot of people have given Good Sam the middle finger. That may be due to death by junk mail, silly and invaluable member perks, poor roadside or no roadside assistance or the fact that they seem to have lost their way regarding customer service and business practices.
So all the TSD card is good for anymore is Loves???
It is good at all commercial diesel pumps excluding One9, Pilot and Flying J. Places like TA, Petro, BP, etc will accept the card at commercial diesel lanes.
The One9 I am questioning myself because when I filled up at Speedway, there was a sticker on the pump saying the fuel is provided by One9/Pilot. Guess will have to wait until it is officially done to see if the station still shows up on the app with a discount. Shame if it doesn't as it was semi conveniently located and usually had to best discounts all around, only one TA station would be at or near that price, but it is further away.
A friend of mine got the Open Roads card this month and is using it for a trip to AZ. He got a $1.26 discount (from the pump price, not taking into account fees) in New Mexico on I-25. I've never seen a discount that big.
I forgot to tell him to put my name down as a referral.
