I have to fill up Goliath this week AND fill up my 50 gallon Farm tank. There is only one station I know of with non taxed diesel, so have to compare the price of that to what the taxed is. May or may not be worth driving all the way to work to fill it if diesel is cheaper near home.

The TSD card needs to be used at least once every 365 days to stay active. I tried to use my card yesterday at a Love’s, and it would not take my card…..I had not used the card since September 2022. I called the 800 number, almost immediately got a nice lady who sounded like she spoke English as her native language, and got my card reactivated.
Had some lunch, got fuel, and we were on our way. I saved $16.50 on a 23.xxx gallon fill up without leaving the fuel pump island. Not too shabby.
I managed to lose my EFS card. Sent an email on the weekend, got a reply the same day. New card is on the way. It will cost me $10, but that's that I get for putting the card on the bed rail while fueling up.
I don't mean to rain on a TSD/Open Roads thread (I have one & use one), but I found some significant discounts using Mudflap vs. TSD recently. TSD was at 3.19, Mudflap was 2.91 in Colorado Springs (it has since reverted back to identical pricing). The options are nice to have for large fill-up savings.

It use to be the card had to be used every 6 months or it went inactive. Did they change it to 12?

I have both, but haven't traveled in a while, but noticed that TSD had better deals where I was vs Mudflap and at home TSD is still better priced when needed. For example, best price MF has by me is $2.97, while TSD is $2.94. There are also no stations where I work with MF, but several with TSD. So it all depends where and when, but never a bad idea to have both.
