Interesting... If we could use the card to fill up our chase car as well, that would be great.
We stopped in another location of Buc-ees during some recent traveling and it was the same mad house at the pumps and in the store as the other. Gasoline prices were .05 (5 cents) cheaper than the Love's up the road.
A full time RVing family we watch on YouTube mentioned that Pilot and Flying J were being pulled back into the discount program. I have not looked into this or had a chance to verify this at the pumps.

If true, that would be good. Flying J is one of the few truck stops in Casper, Wyoming that is convenient. There aren't many truck stops there in the first place and none that take the TSD card.
Pilot flying j are not in the program as of a week ago
I figured as much. So much so I didn't investigate the statement. Despite not being in the discount program, I am grateful their pumps still authorize/allow the TSD card to be used at their commercial pumps.

We are familiar with that area from our journeys from GA to ID and back. One of our favorite summer time routes is through Jackson over Teton pass and then dropping into ID.
Perhaps one day Pilot/Flying J will get out of bed with Good Sam and offer fuel discounts instead of authorized use.

Mark and Trish of KYD or Keep Your Daydream. This was a couple of weeks ago, maybe 3 and they were stopped for fuel with their vintage Bluebird class A.
It was just a short blip where he was talking at the pump about TSD and Pilot/Flying J getting back together.
If you cannot find it, let me know.
We watch KYD, Less Junk More Journey and Gone With the Wynns on a regular basis. We don't follow or subscribe to any other families on YouTube.
It was mentioned up thread that GasBuddy was unreliable. Around my home I had found them to be very reliable and never had any issue ever. But now that we are wintering in Florida, I've been burned twice by the pump not matching the app price by a large margin.
I recommend before going to the station, check the reviews. For both stations I got burned by there are multiple reviews warning that the price is not accurate and so I could have avoided the problem had I checked the reviews first.
So, if you get burned, leave a review that the reported price was not accurate and help out the next guy.
There does seem to be a few bad apples intentionally giving low and incorrect fuel prices. It would be a shame if they spoiled the app for everyone though.

I used Gas Buddy a few times this trip and found one station with no prices listed at all. Major WTF? there. For a station that was next to a restaurant we were eating at, I entered the price that was shown on the sign and Gas Buddy prompted me to confirm the price because it thought it was too high. Nope, that was the price at the pump also.
Diesel is just stupid expensive at the truck stops right now. Fortunately, I wasn't towing so I went elsewhere.
In Casper, Wyoming the Sinclair station at 12th and McKinley had diesel for $3.39 with the DinoPay app ($.10 off listed price), but the pump stopped at $95. I'll take that as the truck stop price (Flying J as well as the Sinclair truck stop a couple miles down the highway) was just about $1 more per gallon (without any discounts). The station on 12th street can be easily accessed with a fifth wheel if you get the island closest to 12th street.
FWIW, the Dino Pay app is a little impatient. If you don't start pumping within about a minute it cancels the transaction. I was fiddling with my additives while my wife ran the app from her phone and I just wasn't quick enough. She had to reauthorize the pump, which didn't take too long.
I'm getting close to needing to fill my Aux. tank, so I've been monitoring both GasBuddy and the OpenRoads apps closely in anticipation of filling. I need DEF too so I want to fill up at a truckstop ideally. We are staying at a campground north of Jacksonville near Callahan Florida. Right now, after adjusting for the erroneous prices in GasBuddy and the TSD discount the best available price for diesel is 3.66 at a TA. 3.67 at the best GasBuddy stations.
Without the discount, the TA price is 4.29.
Tomorrow we have a trip planned that will take us by the TA, so I'll fill-up then. Thank you TSD.
Diesel is crazy expensive and 3.66 is hard to take given that I was paying 2.99 or less in December back home; 3.25 or less on the way down to Florida and 3.23 the last time I filled my Auxiliary tank.
Given the trajectory of crude prices, I don't see prices getting better anytime soon either.

Rich
Since pricing is user provided under an honors system by people who care enough to report the price, current price fluctuations are probably making it harder for the app to stay accurate. I always check the date (under the price) and I always revise or confirm prices while I'm there. Hard to believe users would post false prices, but maybe some station owners do? Seems like a great way to lose business!
Well I'm sure there's the occasional fat finger mistakes that happen by users. Typing with cell phones is always a challenge, at least for me. These are likely to be rare though and not happen repeatedly at a given station.
I think that most stations consistantly reporting erroneous prices are indeed being done by the Owner (or an employee directed by same to do so). The reasons why are not entirely clear to me. But consider the station that due to location, volume of fuel sold, and higher overhead and fixed expenses, simply cannot offer fuel at a price competitive with other stations nearby. Else they go broke. So there actions result in getting the customers that check the app but don't verify at the pump or if they do, are so pressed for time, to just fill up antway. That's the best I got for a possible reason.
The GasBuddy app is still a valuable tool so long as people consult/update the "reviews" in addition to the prices. The more people that do, the better for all.
My wife does not like the Gas Buddy app. Since I do the driving, I don't (er, not allowed to) do the data entry as we drive past stations. Getting to the right station and entering the data seems to take too long. I've used it also and it isn't as simple as it used to be.
